"This was an excellent experience.  We called Mel late and we were trying to get the project done by Thanksgiving.  He said he would fit us in between two other jobs, and he delivered on that promise.  Communication was excellent, he called at least twice about the schedule for the work, and verified ahead of time what kind of wallpaper we were using, so he could bring the appropriate materials.  To save time, we offered to prep the walls before he got here, and he told us exactly what product to use. He showed up on time, and did a meticulous job.  He was done in about 3 hours.  He had told us he had a minimum charge, but he charged us considerably less than that becuase it was such a small job, and we had prepped the walls.  He was very pleasant on the phone and in person and we are very happy with the results. <br />"

"Vertical Connection is wonderful! I asked them for a certificate of insurance, and they gave it to me. Stephanie was very helpful. In an e-mail, I told her that I wanted white draperies. When I arrived at the store, she had many samples already picked out for me. I told her that I wanted the draperies to match the paint on my walls. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring a sample of the paint color. Stephanie, however, has samples of all of the Sherwin Williams paints, and she matched the swatch to the paint color perfectly. She also had a nice selection of hardware to go with the curtains. The installer put up the drapes in less than an hour. I had a great experience with this vendor!"

"We wanted a traditional wallpaper installed in our 119 year old home. Needless to say, the corners in the room are not square or straight. Nevertheless, John hung it so perfectly that it looks as though one continuous piece of paper was used for the entire room. He also listened to our concerns (we hate the look of wallpaper that peels at the seams or in corners) and assured us that he would not let that happen, and so far it has not. (Wallpaper hung by a different contractor doesn't meet properly in the corners, and had begun to detach within days of the job's completion, so this is a great start!) <br />"
