UPDATE - 2/4/2015 - They did come to my home and provided an estimate and plan for lighting our back yard and deck. 6 lights were included in our original purchased deal. Their proposal was for the original 6 lights plus another $1500 worth of lighting. I like their plan but we weren't prepared to spend the additional money at this time. They came out yesterday and installed just the initial 6 lights. They arrived on time and the work they did is wonderful. Our deck is beautifully lit now and I am very happy. While this relationship got off to a rocky start, they made it right and we will hire them again when we're ready to finish the back yard lighting. Also - the deal was supposed to be for the front of the house - but that wasn't clear when I bought the deal - so they allowed us to use our 6 lights on the deck. I'm sure they want the front so that they can show off their work - and that makes sense to me - as their work is worth showing off. I would now highly recommend this company."

"I reached out to Garrett and Loudoun Lighting about having an outdoor spot light installed for more lighting for our grilling space on our deck. Since I grill 11 months out of the year and had been using my iPhone and other headlamp devices I thought it was time to improve my grilling experience. Loudoun Lighting truly delivered with their outdoor grilling area spotlight and offered various locations and spotlighting products. The quality of the light we chose has exceeded our expectations, providing ample illumination for our outdoor space. Installation was thorough and unnoticeable and unless you knew the light was there you wouldn't notice it. What impressed me most was the durability of the product, already withstanding various weather conditions without any issues. "Overall everything went very well, especially considering this project was outside their typical comfort zone including a lot more drywall type work than your typical electrical project. The demolition went very well with no damage to the walls of the room and with very little dust. LV sealed off every door and our intake vent for our HVAC system and overall seemed to treat our house as if it was their own that needed to be kept as clean as possible. LV did a masterful job installing the new drywall ceiling. It's perfectly flat with no sanding or fixes needed whatsoever. The amount and placement of lighting are perfect and much better than what we had previously. There are two minor downsides: One, since they are electricians, they wouldn't paint the ceiling. Perfectly understandable and nothing to complain about, but worth noting in case anybody else needs this type of work and LV is willing to do it. Two, Vincent forgot to include the price of the crown molding in the first estimate so the overall price was a little more expensive than first proposed. Not a big deal since they still saved us money compared to other contractors for this job and was very reasonable overall, but worth noting. In the future I'd recommend that LV should provide a detailed estimate in writing before the work begins. We've used them for another project previously and will do so again in the next month or so, but only 1 of these 3 projects have been put in writing before the work has been performed. Documenting the work in such a manner may help avoid minor communication issues like with the crown molding."

"Larry and his crew upgraded our under cabinet lighting with new LED lighting, and specialized outlet. Not only was our home and its contents treated as if they lived here, the job was done professionally. So much so, that the only issue we had was when the switch/outlet face plate screws came loose. I didn’t even bother calling Larry, I tightened them myself. The lighting is on, literally 24 hours per day since the install, with zero issues. Love these guys."

"Excellent. This is our second time using Handyman at Your Command. We are very happy with their work and will schedule again for drywall, carpentry, light fixture replacement and other work. Tracy was excellent in scheduling the work to meet our needs. She is very quick to return calls and messages. Noel (the handyman assigned to us) did a great job. He is knowledgeable, efficient, professional and very pleasant to deal with. He advised us on the best and least costly way to conduct our repairs and them proceeded to complete the work without fuss. Pricing is fair and work quality is excellent.
