"The remodel was part of an extensive remodel involving moving an interior wall 3ft into our family room increasing the size of our master bedroom and master bath. Our review of the master bath is posted. First and foremost communication was most essential in the completion of the project. From start to finish we were kept informed and updated on all aspects which was most reassuring. The next important was the talent and expertise of the design team. Redbox truly has a very talented and knowledgeable team who came together to turn a blank canvas to a beautiful renovation we will enjoy for years. The bedroom space was expanded, new luxury vinyl flooring installed, door ways expanded for handicap accessibility, and the room painted to color coordinate the flooring and accent wall. The family room originally was to big in our opinion and we suggested to take away 3ft to add to the master bedroom and bath. A fireplace was originally installed and then a gas stove. Our intentions were to replace it with a gas insert. The problem wa\ it was centered on the original room. Dean was able to take our input and design a fireplace and built in audio/visual unit that was framed in by a custom mantle and firebrick tiling. The finished product is AMAZING! Dean also suggested putting custom speakers into the ceiling hiding any wiring. Once again AMAZING!. Luxury vinyl flooring was also installed and extended to the existing sunroom creating that flow from one room to the next. The result ls a family room we will thoroughly enjoy for years to come. Dean did something that we didn't expect which was a walk thru after the project was completed to see for himself if there were any problems or short comings. He found a couple very minor ones and scheduled corrective action which was done within a week. This reflects greatly on their professionalism and pride in workmanship. Redbox will be my first call for future projects and renovations."

"Suburban was very busy, so once the windows came in they had to push back the install date a couple of days.  That was no big deal as I understand how construction works.  One window came in and the manufacture had built in incorrectly, so the installer had to put the old window back in and re-order the window.  All the windows are in, they look and work great!  Suburban stayed in constant contact about the delays and the re-ordering of the wrong sized window.  The installer Mike went above and beyond to make sure the windows were put in correctly and looked good from both the inside and the outside.  I definitely would use Suburban again.  The gutter replacement was fast, and done very well as well.  I could not be happier with these projects.  Thanks Mike, Bob, and Darrin. <br />"

"Crew showed up at 07:10 am and began immediately. Foreman was excellent and kept crew on task the entire time. I have a large roof (45 squares) and I never thought they would get it done in one day. They finished roofing job at 07:30 pm including excellent job cleaning up. Yes found some nails, but considering how many were taken off, give them an A for the clean up. Went with oversized gutters and they look really nice. So far, very happy with them. Superior Exteriors was great to work with, especially Ryan Thank you Superior Exteriors!!"

"They were very prompt and responsive from getting the initial estimate to setting an install date and then doing the actual installation. Everything was done on the dates and times specified by them and in a timely manner. <br /> They worked around our landscaping under that window and removed and re-installed the shutters that were next to the window and you couldn't even tell they had to do that. It looks like the awning has always been there. <br /> The entire install was done in less than 3 hours and I didn't even wake up during the install!! (I was a day-sleeper at that time due to working the night shift and was sleeping in the room where they did the install) <br /> The temperature in the room is now at least 10 degrees lower in the hot summer months, so it is paying for itself, due to no longer needing a window mounted air conditioner in that room anymore!"

"esInitially it started out well but as is typical in this industry, things start to fall off.  He is able to do most phases of construction but prefers trimwork.  The scope of work that we had didn't fit where he wanted to be.  If it was a single job that he was being hired for, I think he would be good.  He did good work but we do a lot of custom stuff and that throws our subs off sometimes.  Super nice guy and I felt that he was trustworthy. <br />"

"The estimator had to reschedule once and was then late to the rescheduled appointment. It was during a high-need time in our area, so that may have been an anomaly. He took a look and gave my husband advice on repairing it himself because it wouldn't meet the minimum of $350.00 for the company to come out. We're thinking about having the chimney stack taken down and the roof patched/repaired, so we'll call them back then to replace some shingles and patch that part of the roof. <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Low-moor, IA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
