Without being asked, they provided references we could check and provided us with their insurance and license numbers so we could validate them, and this was only on the free walk through. <br /> We appreciated their walk through which they requested in order to give us an estimate of how much it would cost for them to move my parent's entire home. When asked they could easily explain how they came up with their amount. We did speak with 2 other companies to get estimates. Easily Devries was the cheapest. Devries also did not ask for a deposit which one of the other company's did. We later on found out that that other company had an extremely poor rating online and had several complaints issued against them by the Better Business Bureau. <br /> On the day of the move, Devries showed up on time and efficiently and safely wrapped and moved all of my parent's furniture. We appreciated how they took care to carefully wrap any fragile items and pack everything so we could feel safe my parent's possesions weren't going to be damaged in the move.  Devries stated that it would be better if they packed up the house and then delievered all items the next business day.  We were a bit hesitatnt but they explained that if we did everything in one day, it would be an extremely long day. Turns out we were happy to have the delievery the next day. Packing always takes forever and then to unpack the same day would have tired us out. Devries showed up early the next day, as scheduled, and delievered without a problem. They even patiently waited as my parents kept asking to rearrange the placement of the furniture. The new home is two story with small doors so the move in was a challenge. But again, with no complaining and with tons of care, all of my parents furniture made it in without a problem. We will definitely use this company again and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. <br />"
