"They were able to fix the problem right then and there, with equipment that was on their vehicle - that was comforting. Although I thought the repair done, was a bit high-priced, they recommended repair over replacement, which would have been much more and we would have been without toilet services for several weeks while waiting on a delivery."

"Jesse did an outstanding job in the replacement of tub and shower faucets. He also replaced a sink and installed a new cabinet and sink. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was installed to a high standard. He is a contact in my phone should I need a local plumber. Thank you"

"Amos did leave covers off on some locations and some parts around (but didn't take the valve - brass without asking if I recycled and wanted to keep it). Left breaker box open, double check valve doors open, water tank door open and extra parts around after replacing switch). In his defense I was constantly asking questions and following him around...... :-) Maybe if had been doing work for someone who was not so on top of him he would have been more aware to do this?!?!? <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Amos was very professional and very confident in his actions and knowledge as well as his manner. And, he was very courteous and prompt. I've watched many workers in action and never felt any more confident in his actions. He had his tools and things together and moved efficiently and did quality work - double checking and testing everything before closing up the well. (not so much on things I could get too.....) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Billing procedure was very loose - but then I know nothing about pricing and <strong>when your water isn't working you just want it working so you kind of take it as it comes.</strong> There was a flat $250 fee for a pump pull/test (price discussed in advance) - same regardless of if only cycle stop or pump replacement (seems odd since only 8-10 feet to get to cycle stop or 180 feet to get to pump?). However, it was $350 if replacing parts (pump or cycle stop) and he only charged $250. Fee was flat $295 for cycle stop - but it appears I can buy one for under $150? (not an easy thing to find online). He didn't charge for pressure switch he replaced (even after calling to ask about that). <strong>For roughly 2 - 3 hours work and $125 -$175 in parts the $630 bill seemed high - but again, I happily paid knowing I had water again and had the pleasure of observing a true hard, efficient and courteous worker in action! You Rock Amos! <br /> <br /><br /> <br /></strong>After observing his work and how much money he made - I suggested I would buy a truck, equipment and go into business with him and Mr. Townsend. <strong> For me as an entrepreneur who wants to do good work and get paid well, perhaps, more than anything, that speaks to my confidence in them overall. <br /> <br /><br /> <br /></strong>Considering the cost and their profit - a call from Mr. Townsend to confirm satisfaction may have been nice? Then again it has been only about 24 hours and he still hasn't cashed check.... I may be expecting a bit much! I have no doubt though Mr. Townsend has complete confidence in Amos' work as he should. <br />"

"Everything went great. The two employees dispatched to our home were prompt, polite, and wasted no time getting to work. They repaired 3 broken PVC pipe breaks, 3 sprinkler heads, and adjusted several more. Took about two hours. The foreman took me on a zone by zone tour when they had finished to make sure everything was working properly. Good job Rick."

"Installation went very well and very fast. I would say the service is great. As another reviewer pointed out, the system is very much overpriced. You can get the exact same system (even a better one) online less than half of the price of this system, and installation really is not that difficult. Next home purchase I will save my money and purchase one online and install it myself, or pay someone to install. I give them an overall "B" because my friend referred me and he did not get the incentive that was offered, nor did I receive the reverse osmosis system for the kitchen that was offered as well."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Lubbock, TX

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
