"We purchased family room horizontal curtains from Budget Blinds less than 4 years ago and had trouble with the guides breaking so that the curtain could not close. We purchased the window coverings with a exclusive 5 year no questions asked unconditional warranty. We called their office and asked to have the broken pieces replaced-which was a simple replacement part fix. Instead, the owner Jody ordered the incorrect parts then sent their repair guys out to fix it. They took one look and said she ordered the wrong parts, they called and told her about the mistake then took photos of the part needed to show her what to order. To shorten this long story-which runs from October 2019-March 2020, Jody couldn't figure out how to order the part, did not look at the photos but instead blamed her consistent errors on the manufacturer and anyone else in the way. We continued to request the curtain to be fixed but she got defensive, nasty and refused to talk with us- the customer. We got in touch with the manufacturer, in Jacksonville, Fl. and they sent the correct parts to BB.The manufacturer representative came up from Orlando picked up the correct parts from BB and finally fixed it. BB had the parts but they refused to come out and fix the problem. When the rep went to BB in Gainesville, they, BB, refused to talk with him or give him directions to our house. In short. we will never do business with this franchised business again and would never recommend them to anyone needing expensive window treatments."
