"I called ABC to come check out my garage door openers after I did a self-installation. I had noticed that the garage door track flexed upward when the door was closed, and thought hat the door was closing too hard. The tech, Sean, came out and checked out the doors. After inspecting the doors, he told me that the openers were actually working just fine, and that the upward flex was not too much, and that it actually helped keep the door closed tight. He helped me check to make sure the safety reverse worked ok, and showed me how the test should be done with a long 2x4 placed flat on the ground, rather than the short piece I was using, which is not good for the door. He stayed for about 15-20 minutes; normally they have a 1 hour minimum for labor charges, but he only charged me for 1/2 hour, $60, which seemed reasonable since he had to drive out to the house. He honored the 10% Angie's list discount on top of that.

"The the seals on all the windows the previous owner had installed were broken.  We decided to get them all replaced since the window manufacturer and installer went out of business.  We got quotes from several companies.  Based on reviews from Angie's list, we went with Supreme Windows and Doors.  Installation was done on a Saturday and went without a problem.  It took about half a day to install the 7 windows.

"My primary complaint is cost and not service. The service provided was very good. Precision Garage Doors were able to come out promptly on the next day (Saturday) after I called them at 4pm on a Friday. The technician replaced the torsion springs and even repaired a few minor items on our garage doors at no additional charge. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. That being said, the price that they charged for the torsion spring parts. The labor charges seemed reasonable, but they wanted to charge $250 for *each* torsion spring. I could not find online anywhere where a torsion spring cost more than about half of that ($125). When asked why these torsion springs cost so much, the technician was sort of vague. In following up with the company, I generally got the run-around. They could not provide the manufacturer's part number, and the manufacturer that they use only sells wholesale and will not disclose the price that they charge. No one could really justify the outrageous price that they were charging for the parts, but I needed my garage door fixed as soon as possible, and I didn't have time that weekend to fix it myself due to other obligations. Overall, if you want the problem fixed promptly and properly, and don't mind spending a lot of money, then Precision Garage Doors will do the job for you. If you are handy enough to install torsion springs yourself, you would save a ton of money."

"I am very pleased with the new front door installation. I had a pleasant experience with everyone involved: Angela who scheduled the initial visit and installation, Joe who came out and took the door measurements, Randy and the other installer (sorry, I don't remember his name), and Bill the installation manager who came out to address the lock problem I had with the door.
NOTE: Before installer leaves make sure you can lock & unlock the door with and without the key, and that you can remove the key once the deadbolt is in the locked position. Don't just hold the door open & try it; actually close the door and make sure everything works. This will save you a lot of problems.

They cleaned the work area upon completion and the pricing is affordable. I will definitely use them again for other home improvement projects in the future."

"The whole process was relatively smooth. the sales person was good and knowledgeable. After signing the contract, two person crew came to measure. It took about a month and a half before windows were ready. Scheduling during the winter was a bit difficult, but it was not their problem. In bad weather, I would not want them climbing a tall ladder to install the window. Install was done professionally. We are satisfied. We would use them again.

"The company was very responsive and professional. They removed the old doors and did minor repairs to the base, replaced the old caulk and installed the new doors. They removed all the debris and did a first class job, leaving the bathroom spotless. We are very happy with the job and would certainly recommend them to others and would use them again. While a small thing and we did not reduce their rating for punctuality, they did not come at the scheduled time to do the install. These delays happen but we would have appreciated a phone call to say they were running late as we had an appointment scheduled and were anxious."

We met with the salesman, we went to their showroom one time to look at some windows. Then we scheduled the installation. I can open the basement door now. They are very professional. They listened to our concerns and made recommendations. We told them what we wanted to do. They had a good variety of windows to choose from and we were very satisfied with their service. They were quick and efficient. If I was going to do anything more I would call them. Their price was competitive."
