"I used Liftech for a structural repair and am happy to report that my experience with the company was very positive. My particular job concerned fixing an issue with the wrap-around deck on my house, where the concrete piers supporting the deck had heaved upwards. The core house foundation was stable where the deck attached to the house, but the heaving caused the edge of the deck to move upwards, pulling the overhead soffit away from the house and the deck itself to be out of level 2" across 6'. What made the job challenging was that all deck supports were 12" diameter logs, some 18' long and weighing 1000 lbs. After obtaining 2 estimates it was clear that Liftech offered the correct solution, which was to shore up the deck with temporary supports, remove all logs, deck railings and stairs, remove the original concrete piers, drill and sink helical piers 25' into the hole left by the piers, form and pour new concrete pier caps and then re-install the logs, railings and stairs. Because this was a complex and technically challenging repair, the company owner Darren came out and personally supervised the job. The job began exactly when scheduled, and did not run over the number of days estimated to complete (they were actually done in 7.5 days instead of the 8 estimated). In addition to Darren, the three man crew of Chad, Wesley and Austin were very professional, polite and hard working. I was frankly amazed at how much work they accomplished in such a short amount of time. The end result was exactly what I had hoped for - the deck is now level and sitting on stable supports guaranteed to never heave again. In short, it is clear that Liftech is more than just a concrete stabilization company, and they are fully qualified to handle complex foundation structural issues. I highly recommend this company."

"We hired them to reinforce the foundation where a few years before some tunnels had been dug through the soil under the footings to put in some new pipes. This is an old brick house and the footings are several widths of brick laid directly on the soil, not concrete. The reinforcement is to pour some concrete walls under the footings to support them and to stabilize the soil walls of the tunnels. They also poured concrete to stabilize another area where soil had been eroding under the footing. We also had them remove an unused brick planter next to the wall. The estimator, Lance Heimes, did a very thorough study of the area and then carefully described to us the recommended work. Because of his attention to detail and good explanations I had a lot of confidence in his recommendations. The work went smoothly and looks good upon completion. The weak point with this company was communication. I had to call them up to find out when the work was scheduled, and even then we were never sure when the workers would show up. They also sent me the final invoice for the work when the work was only about half-done, rather than upon "substantial completion" as provided in the contract. They did finish the work a day or two later, so it worked out OK, although for a while I was worried that they had forgotten to finish the work."

"I would highly recommend Stellar. Their customer service was outstanding. The guys that talked to me about my options and evaluated my house were very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. The guys that did the insulation were also very responsive and did good work. The best news is that the insulation they recommended not only addressed my main issue (very cold floors downstairs) but improved the overall comfort of my house. My heating bills were lower this past winter, my floors were warmer, and my house has been much cooler this summer to (something I didn't expect). If you have a drafty, uncomfortable house I highly recommend these guys! And they are reasonably priced, a great value considering all the consultation services they provided. They also recommended a high efficiency fan in my bathroom that I wasn't sure about but really love. It has eliminated a mold issue I had on the ceiling due to the fact the the fan I had in there wasn't set up or working properly. Thanks Stellar!!"

This issue was only supposed to take an hour or two but after starting the job, there were more problems found that tripled the time. Chad wouldn't have known about the additional problems until he started the job. He stayed at our house and got the job done at a very affordable price and did a great job. Here's the thing that sets Chad apart from other handymen, the next day he called me to follow up to make sure that everything was okay.
