"Miguel Amaya is not only an honest, fair and hard working person but he has integrity that is truly rare (and uplifting) in this day and age. I live in Westfield, NJ and had him redo my front walkway. Miguel went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the finished product. He was forced to return because I was sold defective SEK Polysweep product by an unscrupulous vendor. Mr. Amaya redid the work by replacing the SEK product with the much better Gator Maxx polymeric sand. if you need hardscaping work done, hire Miguel Amaya, a decent, hard working, honest professional. STAY AWAY from Empire Building Supplies (see my review on them) and SEK Polysweep -- the product is garbage and the people who make/sell it know nothing about being good people who TRUTHFULLY care about fairness and/or their customer. Mr. Amaya would not accept my paying him a second time although he was forced do the job twice through no fault of his own. It was so unjust ** and yet so telling of the type of decent human being that Miguel Amaya is. Unlike the others I dealt with (at Empire and SEK), he was more interested in doing the right thing by me than he was about money. How rare. I was lucky to find such a good person and worker. I highly recommend him."

"Chris and his crew were excellent. The extent of Chris' knowledge was quite impressive. He made me feel like I was finally in good hands by showing and thoroughly discussing everything he found. During his inspection he checked every possible issue that could be causing the problems. He explained the repair processes necessary and showed me as he was doing them. They were courteous and cleaned up, leaving my property cleaner than when they arrived. They were very polite and more than willing to do whatever was necessary to help me complete the project as I wanted. "The porch roof was old and in poor condition with holes and lots of dry rot from at LEAST 18 plus years of weathering . As soon as Robert(the company owners) team got to our property, they gutted the roof and worked quickly, and efficiently on the new install. The new porch roof looks great!!! The workers were very friendly, and made sure to not only clear debris from my home, but to also make sure any debris that may have gotten on my neighbors property was cleaned away. Robert and his team exude a genuine passion for what they do, and make sure that before they leave, you have a smile on your face. Wonderful work AND customer service!"

"Communication with the owner/manager was very good prior to scheduling.  He was easy to contact and always returned calls promptly.  We had to reschedule a few times to find a date that worked for both of us.  Once the work was scheduled, two young men came to do the landscape work.  We had purchased a deal for 8 hrs. of labor, or 4 hrs. with two men.  They arrived on time and began work very quickly, once I discussed my needs.  They worked steadily and hard, digging out weeds and dead shrubs, trimming back roses, putting in top soil, garden soil and many new plants.  They moved a lot of rocks and replaced them after work was done.  They cleaned up all the debris and bagged it for us to dispose of.  They moved all the bags to an area that made it easy for us to put out for pick up.  They were polite, friendly and completely professional, and completed the work within the time allotted.  We are very happy with the work performed and it was well worth the cost.  I would definitely use this provider again.
