"One of the major concerns, when you move to another State is finding new key service providers. How fortunate are we to have found Sabastian and Appliance Zen. We are truly in an "om" state after using their service. Our oven stopped heating up and Sabastian not only found the problem on the circuit board but was able to repair it. "Nobody" does circuit board-level repairs. My past experience has been that a service provider would just say, "sorry, you have to replace the entire board assembly." At greater expense. But not Appliance Zen. The other issue with the oven was that it was running 25 degrees hotter than the temp we set. That turned out to be an easy adjustment. No repair needed. Lastly, our dishwasher was also acting up - not cleaning all of the dishes on the bottom rack - and Sabastian determined what was wrong, but after checking the prices of replacement parts, factoring in labor and the age of the unit, he recommended against the high cost of repair and to just replace the unit. Beyond the excellent service, Sabastian is just a badass guy to be around. Great conversation and great technical skills. What more can you ask for? Appliance repair provider found. Check that box."

"We had a new system put in the end of 2020. Gentry has always been prompt, knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. During this last storm our heater went out. I called on Sunday afternoon and I actually spoke to a person, who was very nice, and said someone would call me. Within minutes someone actually did and tried to help over phone. I had already tried what was suggested but he assured me we would see a service man the next day (Monday). Someone did call Monday morning and we did have a serviceman come out promptly. Albert was prompt, professional and immediately got to work. Our unit is underground and is difficult to get to but he went down there and worked until he got it working. It was a frozen line which he fixed and rerouted. He suggested a few things for another snow or freeze and left. The heater has been working since then. We would highly recommend Gentry Service in Swannanoa for new heating system or for service. We have been very satisfied from the beginning."

"David Robinson was wonderful, he was excellent. I called him on a Saturday morning and I didn't expect for him to even answer the phone. But he answered the phone and said he was out on another job but would come by after that. He came out promptly within an hour and half and started diagnosing the problem. I had a lighting strike and I thought my power strips were adequate enough but they unfortunately, were not. It blew out my cable and up into the TV. But he tried several different things and tried to repair the TV but nothing worked. He told me that unfortunately it could not be fixed. He did put everything back together and he offered to take it away for me and give it to an association in town where donated TV's are used at a community college or something to help train young people. He was a very nice young man. He was here over an hour on a Saturday and I felt the price was very reasonable. If I have another problem with a TV he will be the first person I call."
