I asked them to make this right by pulling off the two unpainted panels and putting in the factory painted ones - The asked for an extra 650 which seems like a lot Before the job the communication was great, lots of pictures, but they did not say Hardie board is likely to break - which would would have gotten me to point out where the spares were After the wrong boards went up they were responsive and polite but not helpful The contract that i signed said they were not responsible for painting any siding, so they were technically right but they left me on my own"

"I had to have the roof of my garage replaced and I got a very good estimate from these guys and I engaged them to do it. They were professional and had to do a fair amount of restoring of rotted wood and had to remove three layers of asphalt shingles off my old garage. Anyway, they did this for $3,310 for a 300 sq ft roof. That was a far lower estimate than the other places that I got estimates from. The quality of the work is wonderful and they did an excellent job of cleaning the interior of my garage because when you think about it, for most roof replacements, the dirt is up in your attic. My garage is a workshop with benches and shelves everywhere and they did a very good job of cleaning up afterwards. I give these guys an unqualified recommendation."

"JPCarroll did a fabulous job on replacing my complicated, decrepit Victorian roof, completing it in a timely way and against adversity – they did the whole thing in the month of January in freezing temperatures and sometimes snow and ice. I interviewed five other roofers. However, their sales person took more time and provided far more specificity than any of the other others. Their bid was not the cheapest but turned out to be the best value by far. They went the extra mile to resolve many unforeseen problems, and the quality of work was high. "Steve did a great job in addressing the kind of task that many roofers avoid or dread: repairs to a leaky roof. Apologies for the long account. Over 5+ years, unsealed openings around plumbing and appliance vents had caused cumulative water damage in two places of our kitchen ceiling, including dry but swollen sheet rock. A number of tradepeople had pointed out the sunlight around the vents, so the root cause was clear. For this reason as well as the small affected area (~3x6 feet) and plans for a footprint-changing renovation in two to three years, we elected to repair rather than replace our old but still healthy roof. Although he said the best way to be sure was to replace the [half] roof, Steve understood our reasoning and replaced all three vents in the problem area, with ice-and-water shield and a number of new shingles. He wouldn't guarantee such a limited fix (few if any roofers will), but offered to return if anything untoward happened in the next bit of time. It did - less than a week later, during a nor'easter. In the attic, all of Steve's vent repairs were tight, but I found regular dripping in the bay adjacent to the repairs. After the horizontal, wind-driven rain stopped, the dripping did as well, suggesting the water was getting in through a lifted shingle. Soon after, I went onto the roof and found several loose (well nailed, but unglued) shingles in the repaired area - both new and pre-existing ones. Further to either side of the repair, the shingles all adhered. Steve's very reasonable point was that I should wait for warm weather to adhere the new shingles (which come with a strip of asphalt). I agreed but chafed a bit at waiting, as we were overdue to finish the renovation. Come July, a tradesman estimating the kitchen ceiling repair took a look on the roof and showed me several still-loose shingles, including some new to the repair. Given this new information, Steve stopped by promptly and applied roofing glue under the loose shingles. I'm now satisfied he's done everything we could have expected to address our problem."

"Anthony and his associate showed up the next day with the proper materials and the repair looks good. The repair was on the north facing side of the house and it was important to have this done before winter. While up on the ladders they also cleaned and repaired a very clogged down spout. This will prevent a possible serious problem in the future. Anthony was very friendly and informative on what he was doing. He said just call if there is any problem with the repair and he would come right over and fix it. The price was very fair and the job was well done.
