"Very well done project. David was articulate in explaining what he thought he needed to do. He (they?) removed the tile/grouting from the surface and all the thin-set underneath. I had a lot of rotten plywood that needed to be replaced. He removed all plywood, let the wood joists dry out (1 day) and installed new 5/8" plywood. He applied several coatings to that surface. There was a metal lath, a layer of deckcrete, then acrylic patching over any imperfections. Then a fiberglass mat saturated with laminating resins. Then a knock-down texture coating and lastly a resin sealer finish coat. We chose the color, and it was done in 3 or 4 days. The only problem I encountered was that he didn't have a stucco guy available to patch the several inches of stucco that had to be removed to replace the flashing. In all honestly, he told me that the flashing was probably good and didn't need to be replaced. So that is another job I am now finding a vendor to do. It would've been nice to have the entire job completed by David. He was even willing to work over the Memorial Day weekend to catch up on a day he lost due to rain. That was very diligent of him. (He didn't need to, after all.) If he had had a stucco guy, I'd have rated him 100%. Good work, fast work, nice guy, left the place clean. I would consider him again. Thank you, David."

"Our front yard needed some structure. Gadi helped design and build two entry pillars in stone masonry, plus a new walkway to the door. The old path was narrow and cracked, and the new one is wide and fits the property better. The pillars gave us a real entrance feel. They also ran low-voltage lights inside the pillars so they light-up at night. It's not flashy, just clean and sharp. The stone matches the front steps, and everything feels like it belongs now. Gadi and his crew kept things simple and stuck to our request. Would work with them again."

"They did a great job. Very professional & courteous team lead by Mike Mohsini. He was the only contractor to give me a detailed written estimate, which was also lower than the two other verbal estimates I received. Mike also included some needed structural upgrades & other current building code requirements. The final inspection by San Francisco building department is scheduled for Monday, 6/13/22. "I'm so happy that I found David at CA Cabinets! He was here checking on the work daily to make sure everything ran smoothly which is rare for a contractor as usually they just come a few times during the process. Everything is beautiful and he went to extra mile to shop with me for the flooring tiles, quartz countertops, cabinets and sink. I'm super picky as an artist / former fashion designer and he was able to help me create exactly what I had designed. He had great ideas such as adding a waterfall edge to the quartz countertop and a window sill piece from quartz as well. This project was a complete gut and rebuild due to a dishwasher leak - homeowner's insurance claim. I was having issues with my insurance and David went above and beyond to help me navigate the insurance issues so we could complete the project. He is always very prompt and organized. Some of the other contractors that I had previously contacted could not even be bothered to give me a call back or show up on time to a scheduled appointment but David was able to meet with me right away and always notified me of the work schedules. Pricing was reasonable and in line with other estimates I received."
