"Excellent. They only communicate when necessary, so essentially I’m never disturbed at work or home. Repairs are excellent and often result with quality better than original equipment."

"I have used them over a period of time on a regular basis to maintain my pool.  They are excellent.  They were very responsive and really provided great customer service when there was any issue.  They send someone out quickly, get the issue diagnosed and fixed.  I have a monthly contract with them.  The quality of their work and the knowledge of the owners are great.  They have been in the pool business for many years.  Their price is very competitive."

"Hello, I've hired Fantastic Pool Service twice now in the last year and they've been FANTASTIC. (1) for replacing a light in my spa (2) they replaced my Hayward in ground pool system for a more web-friendly OmniLogic system that's been working GREAT! Laura was super responsive and friendly on both occasions and set up times for their tech, Liam to come out to my home and perform the services. I'll continue to use FPS going fwd and would encourage anyone looking for friendly staff, good techs and great prices, give them a shot. ;)"

"Excellent!!!! From concept & design, to construction and finish, our experience couldn't have been better. John, the company's owner has been building pools for many years in CA and Tx. A few of his employees have been with him 15+ years and the crew as a whole is extremely knowledgeable. John has made the right investments in machinery and equipment to provide him flexibility and speed. Small areas of the project were subcontracted - and that went great. All the more important parts of the project - framing, digging, steel, plumbing, equipment, decking and finish - were all performed by the TX Waterscapes team. I am very happy with the final result and confident of having made a great decision in trusting in this project to John. While I thought I would be making a big expense I now feel I made a great investment and built equity into my home. I strongly recommend John and the Texas Waterscapes crew. Best of luck with your project!!!"

FAQs for swimming pool or accessories repair or service projects in Manor, TX

A well-maintained, correctly sized pump lasts eight to 12 years. Help it reach the upper end of that range by cleaning the strainer basket, monitoring for unusual sounds, and verifying that the pump’s flow rate matches the filter's specifications. Address leaks or pressure dips quickly—minor fixes now cost far less than a premature replacement later.

Listen for grinding or screeching, watch for breaker trips, and keep an eye on sudden spikes in your electric bill—any one of these signals the pump needs attention. If repairs continue to accumulate or the unit is older than eight years, replacement often makes more financial sense. Contact a qualified pool repair professional immediately to diagnose the issue and prevent further damage to the filter or plumbing.

It’s best to keep your pool pump on while swimming. Keeping the pump on while you swim allows the filter and skimmers to catch debris in real-time, maintaining water features flowing. It’s not mandatory, but weaving swim time into your regular eight-to-12-hour schedule helps maintain crystal-clear water and consistent chemical levels without extra effort.

Start by shutting off the power at the breaker and verifying with a voltage meter. Close the water valves, bleed pressure, and unbolt the old pump. Wire the new unit according to the manufacturer's diagram, glue in the PVC unions, prime the housing, and tighten everything securely. Open the valves, flip the breaker, and watch for steady water flow and quiet operation. If any step feels beyond your expertise, consider hiring a licensed electrician or pool technician.
