Also, I was scheduled for a 3-day project, which included the replacement of some flooring in my basement. On the day the project began, we reconsidered the need for the flooring, and asked if we could cancel that portion of the job. They could not have been more accommodating to that adjustment, and made the change with no questions asked or negative attitude, even though it significantly lowered the price of the project and eliminated a whole day of scheduled work on 2-days' notice. That sort of total customer dedication is rare. I recommend them highly."

"We had a little issue - did not ask a lot of questions or do a visual inspection before snaking our shower drain - turns out we should not have done that due to this drum trap we had. Long story short ending up breaking a pipe - but it was all so old we needed to get it replaced anyway. "My house was built in 1963 and the washer water shut off was installed then. Recently it had stated leaking so I haired Carmichael to replace it. He called me prior to coming out and had me send him a picture of the valve. When he arrived he had the replacement valve and new hoses because he noticed that the connections on the existing hoses were showing signs of rust. A complete and competent job. I also had him replace the garbage disposal and this job was too done completely and competently."

"I try to leave reviews on every business that I’ve been in contact with. I can say that this company, “Joe the Plumber” in CT (a Perras Family Co.) is simply awesome. I had used them years ago on my first house here in Glastonbury. They were great then. Maybe 10 years later (this morning) we woke up with no water on our ‘new’ home (24 years old), also in Glastonbury. I called the first number I had on my iPhone at 7am (spoke to a very professional person named Willy) and within 3 hours Wayne Perras (the service tech) & Co were here addressing the problem. After 24 years, the well pump gave out. It was in a 400 feet-deep well. They completed the job in 5 hours. I didn’t have to wait until Monday, which was one of my concerns. Wayne was very straight forward. No BS. Gave me the quotes. I agreed, since it sounded reasonable. I had changed the pump on my other house (not as deep & smaller pump) so I knew around how much it would cost. Wayne was great, knowledgeable and had a friendly and respectful disposition. I will certainly use them for another related project this Summer. I truly & honestly recommend this family company. It was a Godsend that the first number I had on my phone was for Joe the Plumber (the Perras)! THANKS GUYS!"

"Had a water leak coming from A.C. unit and I called HARP on Saturday morning and was informed a technician could be out on Saturday between 2pm and 6pm. Jaime informed me that it was $89 for service call and $25 for fuel charge and HARP does not charge by the hour but by the job. At 12pm I received a phone call from HARP dispatcher and i am told that the tech finished up his job early and would like to come over to our home, I informed her that we were not home, she said no problem we will see you at your schedule timeframe. Dispatcher called again at 1pm and asked if tech could head our way and I said yes, we were home. Courtney Ivey came out and arrived at 1:45pm, was very professional, personable, clean, wore slippers over his shoes, uniform was sharp looking, wore a mask, provided me with some great helpful hints, turns out I needed I condensate tank pump. He replaced the pump, took the old one away and paid for the part and service. I later saw on HARP website that they offered military discounts, so I called and spoke to a wonderful person named Debbie. I explained that we had just paid for service and was wondering if it was too late for HARP to provide the military discount, she said absolutely we can. She sent an e-mail to HARP billing department and asked I be credited 10%. I have to say little shocked at all the negative reviews. My experience was 100% hands down."
