"I employed the Professional Handyman over the phone in another city. I waited to see the finished work before paying the balance of the contract. I am pleased with the work ad also with the rapidity with which the job was completed. The task was to replaster a bedroom ceiling that had been damaged by water and then to paint it. I didn't explore pricing pricing before accepting the contract. The work included sheet rock patch. Cut drywall. Fix repair drywall sparkle; remove popcorn ceiling. Clean up mess that includes moving furniture. Paint ceiling white. Job was completed in 24 hours. Cost was $1040.81. I am very satisfied with results. Would recommend Professional Handyman to others. "We had a lightning strike which damaged the exterior and the interior. His team responded quickly to weather proof the damage. They followed up with window replacement, siding and roof repair, interior drywall and trim repair, painting and finish work. While they were there and doing such a good job, we had a door replaced. We discovered water damage caused by undetected leaks. This lead to a complete replacement of the cedar shake siding, window and door flashing replacement and exterior painting. All with a hurricane breathing down our necks. The work was completed in a very short window and was done at a high quality level. We are hoping to have the firm back to do other exterior work in the off season."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.  
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

"the work was started a few days after the contract was agreed too and signed. Work progressed fairly rapidly until we got into a period of wet weather which slowed the work down but persistence paid off and it was finally completed about on the schedule if you consider the rain days.
The work looked good, the doors were installed perfectly, the old electrical cover plates were replaced.  We particularly like the way the outdoor lights, outlet, power meter etc. were mounted to the house and trimmed out.   
overall we were very happy with the work and will use American Home Improvements and Remodeling again.
