Ultimately, I chose to take a different (less expensive but higher risk) approach of raising/repairing the walk. ".  they replaced some broken pavers, fixed the edges of my driveway and patio, did some other repairs and leveled things out.     They cleaned all the pavers w/a power washer,  put polymeric sand down, swept it in, blew off the excess and wet it down.  then sealed (i think)
