"Mary Peterson, CEO & Lead Designer, and her assistant arrived early in the window promised. This is an interior LED landscape (in the atrium) lighting, five lights with one not working - I already determined it was not the bulb. Mary quickly isolated the problem, a faulty junction, replaced the part and made a new run to the fixture- let there be light! Both were friendly, efficient and restored the garden so that you could not notice what work had been done. I hope I don't need NOL again but if I do, I will call them first. Which reminds me, A large local lighting company gave me five recommendations for someone to work on this problem. I contacted three of them and none of them returned my inquiry. I called Northwest Outdoor Lighting on my own and received a call back the next morning. I will be contacting that lighting company and insist they add Northwest Outdoor Lighting to their list of recommendations."

"It was a pleasure to work with Britescape for our home exterior lighting design and installation. Everything went extremely smoothly, and the staff was very professional. The price overall was a bit high, but the professionalism, high quality products and excellent service made it worthwhile. I worked with Robert to design the plan for our house. He had great ideas and worked with me to adjust as necessary to fit within my budget. The team of 3 that installed the lighting took great care to not disturb our existing landscaping, removed the old lighting and cleaned up everything when they left. Our project was mostly installed in one day, but they had me review what it looked like at night, and then came back the next morning to complete the job and make any adjustments. I would highly recommend them!"

"We've been in our house 21 years and hadn't upgraded the electrical, which consisted of knob and tube wiring throughout with some romex wiring mixed in. When the kitchen light spontaneously fell from the ceiling, dangling by one crusty knob & tube wire, we couldn't ignore the inevitable upgrade any longer. We have lath & plaster throughout the house, but luckily the attic and basement remain unfinished with the wiring exposed. <br /> We met with four electricians and received three bids for the work. We chose Queen Anne Electric because they were a small company so the owners were more likely to be hands-on than the larger firms that bid. Their bid was comparable in price to the others, and we appreciated that Justin (an owner) itemized the bid per our request. The other companies did not. Itemizing helped us understand and trust the price. <br /> Work began about two weeks after accepting their bid. Jubal (an owner) and Jose did the work. Jose was there full-time, and Jubal was there about half the time. They were very professional, friendly, courteous, and focused on the work. They worked room by room replacing the wiring and discovered areas where the existing romex was improperly spliced into the knob & tube. We own a dog and cat, and they were careful to keep them indoors. I work from home so was there the majority of the time. Aside from the cold, noise, and occasional lack of electricity which was all to be expected, it was a positive experience. Jose was late a couple days due to car battery issues, but otherwise generally worked 7:45-4:15. The job took 6 days. <br /> Now that the work is complete, we have some damage to the plaster around some light switches and outlets, but that was expected and most of the switches/outlets are unscathed. We no longer have flickering lights and can now run the dishwasher and microwave at the same time. Woo Hoo! <br />"

"Jason is an expert pruner - all the plants he worked on looked absolutely beautiful he was finished.  (Most of the plants had either been lightly pruned or not at all in 20 years.)  He was amazingly fast yet precise, and was also very knowledgeable and friendly.  I appreciated him pointing out a rhododendron that I was pruning that had lace bugs on it that I didn't even notice.  I would definitely hire In Harmony again for future work. <br />"

"This is the second big job I've had this company do for me - and I would absolutely hire them again. (They put in a huge paver patio for me last year.) Here's why: You know how there are always things that go wrong on a job? I've hired companies that don't take responsibility for anything once they are "done" with a given job. But Cascadia Outdoor Living Spaces stands behind their work with an honorable commitment to customer satisfaction and quality. They came back a couple of times after the job end date to fix up parts of the fences that weren't quite up to my pretty high standards - with no complaints and a great attitude. If anything goes wrong in the future, either with my patio or my fence, I have no doubt that they would come back to make it right. I should also note that Steve Higa proactively beat out another estimate I had gotten for the new fence, so I had to admire that initiative and drive to get this particular contract! So I would say: Definitely get other bids for comparison, and ask Steve to see if he can do the work for the price you want to pay."

"System Pavers put in a new patio for us. We love the new outdoor look. They took up our old concrete and created a design that fits our backyard. They also took out our steps and replaced them with blocks and pavers with a light package. The entire process was very professional from the sales person to the installation. We asked them to come back and redo a mitered corner of the steps. They came back and fixed it more to our liking."
