Dave spoke with me and determined that the issue was likely due to a substandard wire from the original system that had corroded. He volunteered that Hidden Fence could come out and bury a new wire, keeping the existing generator and collar at a significantly cheaper cost than purchasing an entirely new system. He turned me over to their installer, Bruce who promptly arranged a time to complete the work. They arrived right on time and worked quickly and efficiently, installing a higher grade wire. I called Jim in a panic.  I explained that the crew from a tree service  just left our house, having cut through our chain link fence in two places to remove three small weed trees from our yard.  The problem was, that fence separates our yard from our neighbors' yard -- and their two dogs, who would be running around the yard in about six hours.

"Great! Dennis is a good guy who did a fantastic job on our house. He is extremely conscientious and very easy to work with. All the other painters we talked with before choosing Dennis were going to spray & back roll. Dennis was the only one to spray and back brush and I think it made a difference. He worked very hard and the house looks wonderful. He was extremely responsive and agreeable to any changes we wanted to make, and almost always identified any touch-up areas before I even had a chance to mention them. He was very patient as we chose our colors, and helped brush on a few of them before we committed to a color. We will definitely use him again for other painting projects and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a painter. The final cost of the project was a little higher than Dennis estimated because our house sucked up the paint a bit more than he anticipated. However, the final cost was still less expensive or similar to other quotes we received."

"Derek Stoeckel provided an estimate of $450 in November 2010 but I decided to wait until April 2011 to have my fence repaired. The work was delayed a few days because of rain and snow but a handyman from House Doctors came to my home as soon as possible. He arrived right on time at 8 a.m. and after traveling about 5 miles to get the posts, he completed the work. I considered the cost to be reasonable since the workmanship was terrific and I also received a discount with the Angie's List member coupon.."
