"We needed:  1)a gutter enlarged inside the cage; 2) rescreening of entire cage with Super Screen (golf ball proof with 10-year
warranty); 3) replacement of all ground angles and screws of existing cage structure; 4) cleaning of cage structure; and 5) an estimate on enlarging the lanai/cage.  We interviewed 3 cage companies and Pool Cage Mechanic was the only company that would deal with the replacement gutter.  The other 2 companies told us they would only replace the gutter if we installed a new cage even though they said the existing structure was perfectly fine and sound.  During our meeting with owner Paul Ferrara we also discussed enlarging the lanai and extending the cage.  We signed with Paul without further discussion because he was mindful of price and gave us options on standard, white fly and super screens; described the permit process in Collier County for enlarging the lanai; quoted a fair price on the work to be done; and threw into the deal new hardware on the 2 doors and cleaning at no additional
charge.  The work was completed as scheduled by a crew of 5 in one day except for a new down spout that was installed the next morning.  The crew worked diligently and cleaned up.  The work is perfect and we will use them for the lanai/cage extension.  If you need repairs or replacements to a gutter or cage, and you want an honest and fair price, you definitely need to contact Pool Cage
Mechanic.  They will do what other companies won?t do because the job is too small or a pain in the neck.

"The company came out and the installers were polite and knowledgable.   It took a couple of days to install and they really did a nice job going around tree roots and palmetto plants.  They tried to minimize the gaps under the fence and I was happy with the appearance.   I did notice that several of the poles weren't set very securely and it seemed that the cement was poured into the post hole but not wet down to set up.   I called "Jonathan" and told him my concerns and he apologized and had the crew come out the next day to correct the oversight.   It has been two weeks  and the job looks very nice.  I would mention that there were many bits and pieces of metal that were left on my lawn that i needed to pick up.   Didn't want my dog to get ahold of those.  All in all, a fair price for a very nice job.  The company was pleasant to deal with and is happy to give AngiesList folks a small discount.  Would hire them again."
