Custom Climate Concepts is a heating and air conditioning company serving Sarasota and Manatee County residences. Ownership changed hands in August of 2021 and is currently locally owned by a Lakewood Ranch family. We provide repair services to residential equipment, sell and install new air conditioning equipment, repair or replace duct work, install indoor air quality products such as UV lights, install blown in insulation to attic areas and clean duct systems.
"Buyer beware this company took advantage of my parents who are both in there senior. My dad bought a unit for the house and also bought a 2 year warranty they had a problem within the first year they came out said it needed a part which it did not then made him pay $1100.00 dollars to pull some insulation out of it. He attempted to dispute the charges and they illegally charged his credit card. These companies see older couples and steal there money. Btw they left them without air for almost 2 weeks causing my mom to dehydrate from sweating. They will be disputing the charges, I just don't want any other couples taken advantage of by these lowlifes...."

Called Kenmark Thursday morning, said they would send a tech out on Friday, which they did, but all the tech did was tell me to turn off my AC until Friday when he would come back “early” to put Freon in the unit. I guess in Kenmark world 11:00 a.m. is early. Tech returned after multiple phone calls and said that he only had enough Freon to get me through the weekend and that he would return Monday or Tuesday? In the meantime, I am watching the temp in the house getting higher and higher, and I am expecting 10 guests for the week! After talking to two other ladies on the phone who both told me that they would put in for an emergency call and that I would hear back from them, which I never did, I said “enough!” I then called Mr. Kool, explained my situation, and within an hour a tech was at my home fixing my air. The tech told me that he didn’t know why they (Kenmark) were trying to add more Freon, the problem was the capacitor."
