They showed great patience with us as we went back and forth between granite and quartz. Once we settled on our choice, things flew to completion. "Great. The first visit we met with Krista and walked through the warehouse with many granite slabs. We picked four we liked. Subsequent appointment we picked product ( not one of the original four) and signed contract. Krista was very good at explaining the process and responding promptly to any emails. The process went exactly as expected. The granite is beautiful and the fabrication corrected any unevenness in the wall. The previous Formica counter had a seam that never laid flat. Only one small seam in the middle of sink plus the piece behind the stove are not noticeable. They also sent two layouts for us to choose the one we liked best. Additionally, they recommended and booked the person (paid separately) to tear out the old counter and reinstall the plumbing. He was prompt and did a good job. Everyone listened to my concerns and resolved any questions regarding the new slide in range. Minimum disruption was a plus. Definitely recommend this company if granite is in your future."

But they also let us look at the granite in the warehouse. We actually chose our granite that day and then got quotes from contractors. "This is my 2nd time using McDonald Marble and Stone for a remodel/new construction project and they are just easier to work with than Mees and Kentuckiana Countertops. Their prices are equivalent or better than Mees and KI. They do have a 10-14 day lead time after templating - if they could bring this down to and lt;5 days that would be ideal. I did not have to send back any pieces for the entire project so the templater did an excellent job. All the work turned out beautiful! They were able to acquire a wide range of quartz products from various manufacturers in a timely fashion for my project. Their remnant selection is good as well. Lastly, I appreciated that the installers actually care about not damaging cabinetry and walls. <br />"

"We first saw the company at Louisville's Home and Garden show and since we were building an addition onto our house we were attracted by their display and interest in our project shown by the owner. He is the one we dealt with from beginning to end. He was willing to custom make a color for us, but in the end I went to his shop, a short drive from Louisville, to see samples of all the possible colors and styles. Although he has a nice brochure, it is better to see the whole variety in person. He even took me through the factory, which is right next to the showroom, to see how the cultured marble pieces, such as bathtubs and sinks, are made. I was impressed with his desire to help me find the exact color I wanted for my bathroom and he even gave me small pieces to help me then coordinate the paint colors. He came out to measure, of course, and discussed with my builder exactly how everything would work together, since there is plumbing and glass shower doors to consider as well. I was thrilled with the results and now, nearly two years later, I am still thrilled with the counter with integral sink, backsplash, and shower with seat. The cultured marble has held up beautifully and still looks brand new. <br />"
