"We have been very happy with this company. Back in the summer we had a nightmare issue with our LG fridge having a compressor issue and not being able to get it fixed through our extended warranty. Mr. Appliance came out and diagnosed the problem and helped us navigate the frustrating process of our claim. So when we had a problem with our oven, I called to schedule a repair appointment. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner, and they called the day before with a 2 hour window, along with sending a photo of the technician who would be coming. I received a text when he was on his way, and a phone call when he was 10 min. away. He arrived wearing a mask and booties, which I really appreciated, and was very professional. He explained the malfunction, and tested all the parts, and discussed the next step of repair. We live in a smaller town and it has always been difficult to find someone for appliance repairs in our area since Sears went out. Very happy to have found them!"

"I was pleasantly surprised when Paul and his associate provided me with much needed same day service on a Sunday right before a holiday. He was punctual, professional, courteous and very friendly. He did not cut any corners and provided top quality service to the point of thoroughly inspecting my appliance and ridding it of any safety hazards (excess lint, etc...). He even helped with troubleshooting some dryer vent concerns I had. I was truly impressed with his work ethic and genuine concern for the customer. I would strongly recommend him to anyone and will definitely keep him on the top of my list for any future service needs!"

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"Overall I was not impressed with the quality of the work. I wish I had just made the nail pop repairs myself. The gentleman was friendly, professional, and easy to be around. He did leave 20 minutes early without asking if I was satisfied or needing anything else. This I only mention because the company charges 185.00 for a 2 hour block (166 was the Angie's list discount)."

"Well, the guys that came out did so without calling first. I wasn't home and they scared my daughter by pounding on the door repeatedly. The owner acted like it was a big deal to call one day ahead of time to let me know when they were going to be there (I travel alot for work). It was a huge hassle, my daughter called the police, my husband had to come home from work,etc. The work they did was very good, very high quality, and actually quite quick. But when I looked at the deck after they had gone, there was a square of deck paint spray on the trex we used for the deck flooring and they did not cover this part of the deck. I am hoping it will fade with time. The entire deck was much larger than the Angie's List special allowed for, so they charged me $1200 more than the special. I thought it was very high, but paid it just to get things finished and we could stop dealing with the hassle. Again, the guys that did the work were great if not a little on their own agenda.........but dealing with the owner was very difficult. He asked me to take pictures, he wouldn't call me ahead of time, it just wasn't very organized or professional."
