Two brothers, Patrick and Paul Kariniemi, founded Kasi in 2010. Prior to starting Kasi, Patrick spent ten years with a spray foam roofing company in Phoenix and Paul was an industrial construction contractor in Minnesota. East Valleys crew went to the home and spent hours checking the issue in the attic, in the August heat no less, and let us know that the inspector was mistaken and that the vents were free and clear. Two other companies who refused to enter the attic ("I know what attics look like") proposed a small number of external OHagin vents instead which wouldn't have solved the issue if it existed. "The only positive interaction was when the scaffolding crew started their prep work. Lath crew is fast at putting up house wrap incorrectly (against code and manufacturer directions) and covering it up quickly with EPS. Lath was installed hastily, with no regard for building codes, and against owner directions. Crew rarely shows up, promises to return to fix blatant issues, and inconsistently returns to continue lath installation on other areas. The owner or site supervisor is defensive and doesn’t believe in house wrap. Poor management, false promises, and appalling workmanship is the best Eddie and Sons could provide on our project."
