"I have a very, very old dryer that just died. It's located in an enclosed space with the washing machine. I called Lerman Appliance Repair and told them about the age of the dryer and that the depth of the dryer was shorter than the dryers that are on the market now. I asked if they thought it could be repaired. The lovely lady who answered their phone was so knowledgeable and helpful. She and I agreed that it was probably a bad timer and she looked though all her suppler websites to see if a new timer was available to order. She checked everywhere and because the dryer is so old, none were available. Then she said she'd check with a technician when he came back into the office to see if he had any work-around solutions. She'd call me back. She did call me back and they all were wonderful. The only part available was a used part and it couldn't be guaranteed and it was very expensive. She made two suggestions for new dryers that might meet the required depth to solve my problem. I will check them out online but in the meantime I had to write a review to let anyone know how far they went out of their way to help me find a solution even if they didn't come out. All this advice and caring was over the top. I will call them first with any appliance problems I have in the future. I can't remember getting better service. Bravo."

"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."
