"Called another company originally they asked how old the furnace is and I said about 5 yrs. old (it is 6 yrs old). They informed me that I should get a hold of the company that put it in because it should still be under warranty, which after I looked it was. So I called Service Today to set up an appt. to have them look at it. Andrew came out and with various questions asked I said that the thermostat we have is wifi and that is how we run it. Comcast upgraded the wifi in the neighborhood the day before and it was today I woke up and noticed that the thermostat wifi was not connected to the wifi anymore. He looked into it and noticed that when I put it on heat via by phone app or manually by the wall thermostat, it was turning on the A/C instead and visa versa. He came at a price to me of about $350 to run a diagnostic to find the issue. He did and then he comes back and tells me that the thermostat itself is burn out (I bought the thermostat from them when I had the new furnace installed 6 yrs. ago). Andrew goes to his van and of course comes with only 2 thermostats that he has on hand. One is not wifi and it was $350 or so and the other was $800 which was wifi programmable. He did say we could just go and get one from Best Buy or something but we would have to install it. We decided on the lower cost of the 2. As he was installing it I looked up the retail cost for the same exact one he was putting in (Honeywell T4Pro) and it was $75 at Best Buy. I mean really.........that much of a mark up in cost!!! It is like this company does not understand that we are in a pandemic and that money for so many people is really really tight!! To gouge customers like that. As I sat in my office crying about the cost I let myself get washed into, after a while I asked Andrew why such a big cost increase on the thermostat. He said he has nothing to do with the pricing of items, which I understood. Andrew was a nice guy and just doing his job. I put this gouging at the feet of the company because right now, people have to decide to either pay a heating/electric/etc. bill or pay a company a massive cost to have a thermostat put in. Andrew did take down some wires that were for a humidifier that was on the old furnace prior to installing the new one and also cleaned some dust and lint from the furnace. Will I call these guys again, only if I know that there is something wrong with the furnace that is under warranty still, other then that, I cannot afford them. They were better when they were Airtech. The C rating I gave it has more to do with how nice Andrew was then the company. For the company itself, I give it an F"

I called Jim in a panic.  I explained that the crew from a tree service  just left our house, having cut through our chain link fence in two places to remove three small weed trees from our yard.  The problem was, that fence separates our yard from our neighbors' yard -- and their two dogs, who would be running around the yard in about six hours.

"He helped us to determine that with our washer being as old as it was and the cost and time to determine what needed to be done, another visit with tools and parts it would probably be a better idea to replace it at the age it was than spend the same amount of money repairing it. Was a good answer. We replaced the washer. It was over 12 years old and had much use over those years. However one idea on this website is for those that did NOT use the repair service found, it would be nice to submit an experience of why and what happened in lieu of hiring the service professional. That way you know it was not because of the person responding but because the situation required a different outcome and direction."

"I hired this company to do many projects in my home. I had the old kitchen counter top removed and replaced it with a new one I ordered. A new kitchen faucet was installed as well as tile backsplash. In the 2 bathrooms he replaced the lightning fixtures and tiled the floors. In the master bath, he installed a solid surface shower unit and new shower head. He also replace the mirror in the master bath. In the front entry, he laid a tile floor. A few months later I hired this company again to replace two ceiling fans."

They also came here for my stove because something when wrong with the door, the oven door. I have a commercial oven and he door just won't shut so something when wrong with it, and they fixed it.
