"Will not hire or refer this plumber. I had a simple change of cartridge inside laundry brass faucet on the hot side, and I had already bought the part. Paul Vadnais couldn't get it out with a wrench, didn't try heat, penetrating oil or other methods or tools to break it loose. Asked if he could cut copper and take the faucet back to the shop to remove part, said trip costs would make it more than replacing faucet. Asked what cost would be for new faucet install was told $120 for faucet $80 trip charge. Cost of faucet is 4 times what one can buy it for, but had him replace it anyway. When handed my bill by his son, $252 - I asked why the difference than I was told. Son said, I can ask him. I said nevermind, I just don't plan to use your service again because wasn't able to do the job I requested to begin with. Son's response was "you won't find a cheaper plumber anywhere". He didn't even ask what it was I was unsatisfied with. Well, yes I have found a cheaper plumber now and one that also discloses costs and sticks to them. Felt plumber was more eager to do what was easier and make more $$ for him."

"I have used Roger Vadnais plumbing ever since the year 2000 when we got “this old 1950’s house” in Shoreview. I was always impressed, usually saw Gordy, sometimes Paul, or others, for various installations and repairs. They really saved me this one late Sunday night in 2011 when suddenly our toilets stopped working. I told the phone scheduler how the next morning my son, who was visiting, had to fly out east for his first deployment to Afghanistan. What a relief it was when Roger himself took off on that Sunday night and came over to our house and fixed the plumbing. Obviously, that earned my undying gratitude. Since that time, various things have needed to be done at this house, and usually Vadnais plumbing has been doing them, typically, I see Gordy, or Paul. I’m going to give them a call this morning about something I need done about a slow pipe leak. I’ll ask also for an estimate about my basement, which really needs a bathroom and a shower installed!"
