"Absolutely no hassles, Zach and Rob came out and we looked at everything that was going to be done together, they explained everything, and their crew executed. Anything I pointed out that needed a little extra attention got fixed right away the way I wanted it, and I couldn't be happier. The crew also did a fantastic job of cleaning up all the debris from the surrounding yard, it was difficult to tell that anyone had been there. They replaced two worn out gutters also, that look perfect. The roofs look good, solid, and with the warranty and commitment of Zach and Rob, I feel no anxiety worrying about anything that might ever need fixed. They made the paperwork process simple, and were cool to work with. Would recommend to any friend!"

"Crew arrived on time; foreman asked me to show him exactly what I wanted replaced, redone and repaired and done. Showed him where everything was, old siding, new door, where to make the opening for the new door, and where the places where that needed replacement siding. They got to work in a timely fashion and if there was any question, the foreman came to me and asked to make sure they were doing what I wanted done. Crew stayed all day to get the job done. The foreman returned the next day to fix 2 replacement spot, they had not gotten to on the previous day. Did a great job, looks great and the foreman was adamant that I was satisfied that they had done everything that I had asked to be done.  The siding looks great and so does the new door. Good work."

"We had some recent storm damage that was minor (all things considered) and had called a few other local companies. Everyone wanted to quote us for an entire new side of siding - until Zykan Exteriors! They not only said they could do it, but were prompt in responding to the request and sent a team out within 48 hours. The team was friendly and it did not take them long to get the job done. It may have been just a small fix, but being taken seriously and not simply downplayed is a definite win in the book. "GCS did an excellent job executing a pretty complicated project. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. The bid that Dennis provided was very detailed and thorough. He came by several times to take measurements and ask questions about our intentions and goals for the project. He also had his electrical and HVAC subcontractors contact us to gather information about the project. It took about two weeks for the bid to be completed, which caused us to get a little impatient, but the final result was far more complete and thorough than any of the other bids we received. The cost was also very competitive. Work started soon after we signed the contract. Dennis did a very good job of coordinating the the tasks, including bringing the various subcontractors to the site in a timely manner, and within about 6 weeks we had the foundations poured and the basic framing done on the 8'x10' kitchen addition and the 16'x20' 1st floor bedroom/basement addition. Dennis' team were receptive to the changes to the plan (there will always be changes to the plan) that we asked for. The changes were documented, invoiced and priced reasonably. There was a lot of inside work to perform, so that took another 3 months or so. Insulation, drywalling, drywall finishing, carpet removal and installation, removal of the old kitchen cabinets and appliances, etc. Again, Dennis did a good job of scheduling the various specialists to come in and do their thing. Dennis was very responsive to any issues or concerns that came up through text messaging or by phone. Problems: Main issue was that the pace of work in the middle of the project was slower than we would have liked. This was mostly an issue with one individual worker. Overall: We are very happy with the results of the project and would recommend GCS highly. Attached picture is of the kitchen interior just prior to completion. It is exactly what we had envisioned."

"I received 2 other quotes before I contacted him that I absolutely could not do.  I kept getting told that because my home was so old and the door was original to the house that it had to be custom built along with the frame and would cost thousands of dollars.  I just could not accept that.  Richard came out quickly and looked at my door and told me he would have it done within the week and he absolutely did.  He found the parts he needed and replaced the doors and replaced some of the framing within 2 days.  It was a lot of work to do.  He and his other man were very polite and professional and I would use them again.
