"Wow! Let me start by saying I had several contractors come by to give me estimates on fixing some major concerns I’ve had in my yard for quite a while. I needed a professional who could complete everything I needed at a reasonable price. Well, Mr Julio Escobar (ET General Contractor Inc) was able to accommodate everything I needed done. He listened to everything I needed and provided excellent suggestions as to the right approach to do the job. This entailed re-sloping my backyard to direct water away from my house foundation and installing a drainage system in my backyard. My backyard was a barren wasteland that needed quite a bit of work. I had barely any grass on one side with many trees that I wanted removed in order to get more sunlight and allow grass to grow. Julio’s crew did an amazing job (cut down trees, removed all branch/log debris and grinded/ground the stumps down to the roots). His crew planted 29 Japanese Cedar trees along my fence line. My appreciation goes out to Julio Escobar for working with the nursery to get me all Japanese Cedars instead of the Leyland Cypress trees. Exactly what I wanted all along. God Bless you! He and his crew trucked in tons of river rock to lay around my pool and along the foundation in the back of the house and then laid, I forget how many, rolls of sod. These guys worked hard and in the worst heat of the summer. Lastly, but definitely not least he and his crew brought in clean topsoil and organic compost, grass seed, and fertilizer to cover my front yard (that also was a wasteland). After that he aerated the area and laid sod on the sides of my driveway so that there would be no run off when it rained. I can’t express enough how professional, courteous, and attentive Mr Escobar and his entire crew were throughout the entire job. I would definitely use them again for future projects. I can't wait to get my new patio furniture so that we can start enjoying this new space when the weather is nice. My finished project is a retaining wall (3 feet tall by 40 feet wide) and a patio (12x24 feet) with beautiful pavers on both. The landscaping around the wall and patio was just what I wanted with river rock and plants. He transplanted the young trees that I wanted to keep and helped me pick out plants for the rest of the project. I had not imagined including lighting, but Elijah suggested it, and the lighting is beautiful. I also had a walkway installed that matches the paver patio style. It all looks so great, I am very happy with it. I highly recommend Cassella Landscaping. Elijah and his team were such a pleasure to work with and the finished project looks amazing."

"Fernando was on time, professional, careful, and clean. Before starting the masonry repair, he and his assistant taped heavy paper to the floor to minimize, dust, dirt and damage to any surrounding areas. Fernando worked straight through the job until it was completed in one day. The job was done well and at a price well below other bids I received. Fernando brought his son, who is fluent in English, to help answer any questions I had about the job while it was going on. After the job was complete, I checked the work and the new wall section was straight and matched up with the old existing section of the retaining wall. I spent about 1/3 of the price of my highest bid I received. His bid was comparable with my lowest bid from another contractor."

"Oscar arrived promptly for the free chimney repair estimate. After taking a close look at the chimney, he provided us an estimate that was similar to a previous quote we had received. However, unlike the other estimate, he told us that we did not need to replace the flue for the fireplace - it just needed to be repaired at the top. He said that others would tell us it needed to be replaced (they had) but he didn't think we needed to spend the money on that. We very much appreciated his honest assessment. He also talked to us about the merits of installing fire bricks. He and his assistant had pictures of their chimney work which demonstrated what he was recommending we have done. It was very helpful to see the pictures. He also honored an Angie's List discount. The day after we agreed to have him do the work, he called to schedule a time for the repair. He did most of the work the following 2 days. We're thrilled with the result, his diligence and professionalism and are looking forward to using the fireplace this winter! "If you are looking for a great contractor that uses top quality materials and products, then Power House Remodeling is the company for you.  After getting three proposals, we decided to go with Power House Remodeling, which was the middle estimate.
When the owner, Steve Edwards, came to our home to give us a proposal for a patio and vinyl fence, my husband and I were impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness of his presentation.  He was prepared and seemed to know alot about the products that his company uses.  He listened to our needs and we welcomed his suggestions and expertise.
It was nice to see a variety of picture's of the work that his company had performed to help us with making the best design choices for our patio and fence.  
From start to finish, the job took only three days. There was great communication throughout the process and my calls were always returned promptly. 
First, Steve's construction crew built our 374 sq. ft, Techo Bloc Patio in just two days.  Talk about teamwork and amazing craftsmanship, these guys were unstoppable and so efficient.  They worked from sun-up to sun-down nonstop.  It is very evident that they take pride in their work.  The grounds stayed very neat and free of debris throughout the project. I have never seen a more dedicated crew with such great work ethics.  Also, they were very nice.
Secondly, our vinyl fence was installed in just one day.  The construction crew was different from the one's that installed the patio, but was just as professional with great workmanship.  Again, they kept the grounds free of debris and very neat as well as doing a great job.
The finished product far exceeded our expectations.  We were so impressed with the quality of materials they used and with the entire staff of Power House Remodeling.  They truly care about the quality of work they deliver.
We would like to thank everyone that was involved with our project and would definitely use them again in future projects.   I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone.
