After getting a few other estimates, we choose All Island Fence and Railings not only for the price but also because the sales associate, Bob, gave us a lot of confidence with information about the products and details about the work, and the warranties. Bob was informative and real professional. On the day of the job the installers were hard working, courteous, and careful. They double checked the property lines as needed. With all the windstorms we get I was particularly concern with the posts being well reinforced with concrete. I am confident this one is well done. I paid for the quality that I got, I could have gotten cheaper but the quality was my concern. The instalation crew was very profesional and new what they were doing. "I felt a little misled by the salesperson, who initially said the company likes to keep projects no more than 2-3 weeks out. I was impressed! Fence companies are known to take a while to install fences. When I eventually signed the contract and placed the deposit, the salesperson said they were 4-5 weeks out. OK—that sounds more like it, I thought. About a week later the Victorian Fence office called to schedule the installation for 6 weeks in the future. That was a little disappointing but still seemed within a normal range for fence companies. After waiting those 6 weeks, Victorian called late the day before the scheduled installation to say they couldn’t do it because they didn’t get the wood in. That was disappointing! They said they’d call the next day with an update, but after waiting several days, I had to call. The woman on the phone offered one explanation, that customers were complaining about their new wood fences being “wet” (which I think means waterlogged?), and then the owner called back and said there was just a shortage—the shipments weren’t coming in from the supplier. He was very nice and explained the situation as best he could. He seemed very above board. He also said they would call with an update. A week later after no updates, I called him, and the fence was installed the next day without any problems. What’s also weird is that twice I asked about having additional fencing installed, because our neighbors wanted 10 feet and a gate to match ours. I left a message with the salesperson and talked to the owner about it, but nothing happened. I understand if an existing order can’t be changed, or if there’s not enough product to install extra, but we were trying to spend more money! At least follow up on a request we made twice. We are happy with our new cedar fence, but I can’t say I’d recommend others use this company."

"Hired them from a recommendation of a friend and they did a great job. We had them install a stockade fence around our entire backyard and an aluminum pool fence. They came within a week for the stockade and completed in 1 day- looks great! They came back for the aluminum when it was in stock and also completed in 1 day, there was a slight malalignment of one of the self closing gates, I contacted the office and they sent someone the next week to take a look and fix it all. Not to their fault but one of the posts went through an underground pool pipe and caused a leak- when I contacted them about the gate I also let them know about the piping, they also came and fixed that without any charge. They did a better job than my pool company would have as the pool company wanted to cut up the concrete, Robert's guys dug a hole big enough to expose the pipe, didn't cut my concrete pool deck and fixed the piping with the gate as well all in one day. Overall very satisfied with the work and would recommend."
