"We couldn't be happier with Dave's overhaul of our fireplace. His attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. We feel so lucky to have found him after another contractor flaked out on us. He came to the rescue & did whatever it took to get the job done on time and on budget. He is highly skilled and capable. Several times during the job he suggested things that would enhance the finished product. In doing so he created more work for himself. These upgrades probably added a full day of additional work. He didn't change the cost for the job, he just wants his customers to be happy. His attention to detail and cleanliness blew our minds. He spent a full day getting the room taped off to prevent dust from spreading throughout the house. A full day!?!? And it paid off when the work was done...we're not even hiring a cleaner. "Just had ours put in, and it looks great. Our installation team ( Lenny, Terrence, and Manny ) were on time, friendly, hard working and meticulous. Lenny took time to explain things when I popped down and was very patient with questions while working incredibly hard. We have friends who literally live in a swamp who had Busy Dog a couple years ago and their system has worked perfectly. They were getting water in their basement several times a year-- now NOTHING. And I love the technology innovations by this company, the quality of the materials is top notch. Salesman Mike worked with us to set up the construction, he and their engineer came out several times to make sure they understood our tricky set up and worked to get the timing right for timing that worked for us"

"Leisha and the team at Garden’s by the Yard helped me address some very difficult landscaping issues. Our lot borders conservation land and is slopped and extremely rocky. In addition, it is not accessible to heavy machinery. We experienced significant drainage and erosion issues. The team put in two French drains to help with erosion and Leisha developed a planting plan that leaned toward natives, would provide multiple season colors, aid in water control and would thrive in our complex soil conditions. They also installed an irrigation system to help set us up for success. The team has returned multiple times to check on the plantings and provide additional upkeep and guidance The yard turned out beautiful and I am extremely pleased. Leisha and her team were knowledgeable and easy to work with. The crews were hard-working and extremely respectful of our property."

"We met the contractor in the spring for him to survey the job and provide an estimate. He was highly recommended by others in our neighborhood. He provided an estimate but was unable to predict precisely when he would be able to do the job; he indicated a wait of about 4 months. We decided to wait for him because he had been highly recommended. Over the next few months, our area received a lot of rain, which delayed the project further but it was not especially urgent for us, so we waited. Eventually, the contractor started the job in late August. His crew was dilgent and professional. They were well equipped with the appropriate machinery and equipment and completed the job to a very high standard in slightly over 2 weeks. We are delighted with the results, which have transformed the appearance of our house. Overall, the job represents extremely good value."

"We hired Masonry & More to pour a concrete floor for our garage. They gave us a competitive quote, were easy to communicate with, and fit us in right away. We could tell the crew was working carefully and thoroughly, the job site was left clean, and the quality of the finished work surpassed our expectations. We will absolutely have them back for future projects."

"After several attempts to just hire Golden Hill Landscaping & Construction (during a bid process), I finally did. The rates seemed comparable, at first. However, there were many projects to be completed at my deceased mother's house. Because I am disabled and not able to get to the property, I couldn't see how badly I was taken advantage of. Not only did I pay for a job they did not do, I also paid for another job that is unfinished, plus a french drain that is causing a sink hole, and the buried equipment is now above ground. All 3 of these projects pose safety risks. The french drain collapse is only a few months after installation. After bringing these issues to the owners attention (the unfinished project I'd requested be completed for months), the owner began ignoring me. When I mentioned that litigation was going to move forward, the owner said he'd look at the work that week then blew me off again. When they actually do work, Golden Hill's quality of work is atrocious and will need to be fixed. They broke the house vinyl siding when cutting down a tree branch and refused to fix it. I hired a contractor to fix that. They will overcharge (snowplowing is expensive), take advantage of you if you are a senior or disabled, and will try to get paid without working. They should not be in business and allowed to take advantage. I now have to pay someone else to fix their work, finish their work, and do a $375 job they never did. They've been paid over $10,000, with more work to be done at multiple properties. They agreed to do a quote at a second property, then never showed up. One would figure, with that kind if business, a company would want to perform quality work and respond to a dedicated customer. Aroldo at Golden Hill Landscaping & Construction will do a poor job or not at all, blow off appointments, ignore requests, and refuse to fix problems. He will, however, not hesitate to pick up a check. You should not ever hire them. If you do, be prepared to throw money away."
