"The person I spoke to on the phone (I think her name was Grace) was SO helpful that I'm writing this review before even having any work done. I'll explain. I called with an issue with a Subzero refrigerator. Instead of suggesting that we schedule an appointment with the $100 service fee (which by the way, would be applied to the repair bill), she asked about the problem and told us what was likely wrong with the unit. But that's not all. She also explained the pros and cons of going ahead with a repair on a unit of this age, and the likely costs of doing the repair. But that's not all either. She then offered all kinds of useful suggestions on which refrigerators to buy, if we ended up going that route. Since they're in the repair business, they have some good insights. A very different outcome than one would expect when calling for a repair! So thank you Grace. (Sorry if I got that name wrong.) We'll definitely be calling you with our next appliance repair need!!!"

Experience with tools and mechanical assembly required for my tasks, but Wally thought I could do it and he was right. If I couldn't complete the repair, I would have at least been sure of the diagnosis when I engaged a repair service. Money well spent either way. It's a brave new world!"

"Michael was great! Same day response to my initial contact. Next day he was diagnosing the problem. He found the part and I ordered it so no upcharge on part. He came back next business day to install new part. He may not always be able to respond the next day depending on how busy he is but he will respond as quickly as possible. A very personable man, efficient, responsive and he will be my appliance repair man from this point forward."

"They were excellent! I called while at work and they arrived at my house within five minutes. They explained everything to my mom, who was home, and called me to verify what was needed for the repair. The repair on took only 5 minutes. A few months ago, we had another company fix the toilet. Apparently they did not properly install it and it cause a slow leak. What impressed me is that Cipriano could have really charged a lot and over sold what needed to be done but they did not. They fixed the leak. They were honest, knowledgeable, courteous, quick, and really nice people. I would hire them again and plan to for future projects."

"After several repairs over a couple of years we decided to replace our 14 year old central AC system with a new heat pump system. We got quotes from 3 companies, and decided to go with B.A.R. "Danny came on a service call to look at an exterior outlet that did not work when I bought my house years ago. He did a lot of detective work to find out where the issue was, and gave me some repair options. He recommended scheduling a new appointment with a half-day deal, rather than continuing the repair with the service call rate. He also gave me a list of supplies that I could pick up in advance to save some time (and money). When he came back, he installed a new junction box, connected the wires to a circuit (it didn't work because the wires were just tied off), and replaced and sealed the outlet. He had to remove and reinstall the dishwasher in the process, and cleaned up the work area well. Danny was very nice, answered all my questions, and took the time to do things right. I plan to hire him again."

"We have a contract that we pay monthly for any plumbing and appliance repair, like a home warranty. The guy came out the second time and told my wife that if they couldn't get it fixed they would buy a new dishwasher. So they rank very highly on my scale. 

What I like about them is that they do get the job done, but what I don't like is that you can describe in as much detail on the website what the problem is. But it's kinda hit or miss on whether they are have the necessary parts to fix the particular appliance. They almost always have to do second call or buy a part. So like with our dishwasher, they came out and sort of diagnosed the problem but they had to get the motor and things so you can be another week or 10 days with out the dishwasher. Which is not the end of the world. I understand why they don't do that because it could be expensive to buy the parts for all of the different machines that you are servicing."

"Handyman at your Command did a great job getting our townhouse ready to go on the market. The staff was professional and courteous. The prices were reasonable and they completely our work within a short frame. They updated our bathrooms, painted our kitchen cabinets and carpeted all the bedrooms. The house looked amazing and we received five offers over asking our price."
