"We hired MG Landscaping and Irrigation to do a large landscaping project around our pool. The project involved removal of many trees and plantings, ornamental grasses, and pool decking to create a new landscape with a retaining wall, new plantings, a fire pit, proper drainage, landscape lighting and pavers where the pool deck was. That project was finished in December 2017 and is simply wonderful. We then asked them to come back and landscape the front of our home, to update the look and remove some difficult species. That project was completed in July, 2018. In fact, during the second project, they noted a few plantings from the first project that failed to take, and replaced those for free without being asked. For both projects, Chris took care of issues and deficiencies with our irrigation system as well. Overall, MG Landscape & Irrigation was awesome. There are not enough superlatives in our vocabulary to express our pleasure with their work. Key points are expertise, experience, addressing unseen issues with irrigation and electrical, design (Chris has a degree in horticulture and landscape design from Purdue), responsiveness, communication, and customer service. The main reason for these projects was to restore the look of our property and eliminate the tiresome, days-long annual event of trimming and clean-up. Today, Chris and one other worker performed the fall clean up in less than 2 hours; simply awesome! We will only go to MG Landscape & Irrigation for my landscape and irrigation needs. "We had been looking for an irrigation system and we’re planning on the install in the Spring. We were trying to get quotes before Christmas so we could reserve an installation date next year. Some companies were already booking out to summer! I sent a web request for a quote and I received a call back about thirty minutes later! We talked about dates in the coming week and I wasn’t going to be around much. Gil said he was right down the street finishing up one job and said he could come by for a quote now if that was alright. He stopped by, explained his system (he installs self-draining, which as a DIY oriented person, I liked so I don’t have to rely on a company to shut it down each year), and provided a quote on the spot. Then, he said that due to the unseasonably warm weather he was still doing installs. I booked with him the following week. Gil showed up the next week as scheduled with his team. Most of which have been there for a couple years and are college aged men and their brothers or friends have worked for Gil. Gil was on-site and oversaw the entire install, teaching the trade and supervising. He walked me through the install and how the system works and then showed me how to shut it down. I’m the spring, he’ll come out, show me how to start the system up, and fine tune any adjustments. Very impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism. Highly recommend!"
