So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

"Chris, John, Ted and many others did a great job on this project. They are very knowledgeable in the field of installation of asphalt shingle roofs (along with ancillaries such as roof vents and skylights). The installation fixed several issues that were evident with the the old roof, and the GAF architectural shingles look great. Very nice job fabricating larger section aluminum box gutters and downspouts to replace the standard profile gutters which were not in the best of repair. These matched gutters we had installed on an addition. The front porch was by no means a standard design, incorporating a standing seam metal roof which extended from the peak of the existing roof, and used a cantilever support design to support the part which extended out from the house. The metal roof sections were custom roll formed to match the same roof that was on the addition and installation was a very high standard (much better than what was done by different contractor on the addition). Also, the job involved installation of Corten siding which we supplied. Chris and John did a great job working with the architect, building inspections, and other issues that came up during the course of construction. They also worked great with the concrete contractor (Decterra, also highly recommended). Overall, everything has held up perfectly in the year since the job was completed. Great family company to work with, especially on roofing projects which involve more than just replacing the shingles, especially knowledgeable on fabrication and installation of metal roofs."

"An inspector required a liner be installed in a chimney in order to vent a gas boiler properly (this according to some recent building code changes is supposed to prevent mortar deterioration when a newer furnace is installed and no longer vented in the same stack).  Ron came out, inspected the chimney to confirm it was a reasonable procedure, and then forwarded pricing for stainless steel as well as a less expensive liner option.  I went with the stainless, he showed up on time and banged it out in a few hours.  I've dealt with lots of contractors and Ron is just up there.  Solid dude, reasonable pricing, reliable, clearly knows what he's doing in a pretty niche industry. <br />"

"John did an excellent job. I called and explained my issues. He came and inspected my chimney and then told me what he needed to do. He then provided me a detailed estimate with options for different repair scenarios. He suggested getting other bids from competitors before making a decision. Once i agreed to the repair option, he set a date and how weather may dictate it taking longer. He showed up at the date/time he set and began working on my chimney. Due to rain in the forecast, he suggested that the work on the outside of the chimney would be delayed until later in the week. He returned as promised and competed the work. What stood out for me was the various positive reviews i had read from here and Google. When he arrived he removed his shoes at the door (i have hardwood floors) and not that i asked him to. During the work, he used tarps to cover the areas he was working in and worked diligently and quietly (except for the crumbling old liner he was removing). I felt completely safe with him in my home. He was punctual and straight forward about what he intended to do and what the price would be. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. fyi, I did not give a price rating due to the fact that i did not get other bids for the work. I cannot determine if the cost i paid is high or low. From the research i did, his reputation from other clients was quite positive and i made my decision off that. I am pleased with the work he did."
