They started work the next week. They showed up on time and finished my driveway prep-and pour in less than 2 days. The crew is friendly and efficient. They put the removed driveway gravel on other low spots of our approach road with no extra charge. "Joseph and his crew were delightful and professional to work with. I wanted a stamped concrete driveway and Joseph took time to throughly explained to me the color and seal options. They came in leveled and graded my drive hauled away some dirt and broken concrete set the forms and finished the site prep all in one day They returned a day later poured and finished my 73 foot long 15 foot wide driveway on one day. They returned a day later to clean up, remove forms and apply the sealer. Upon their departure they left behind nothing but a beautiful Roman slate textured driveway! In the end I could not be happier! My driveway looks great and literally sparkles as if it was natural slate! Just as Joseph promised! You won't be disappointed!"

"Conclusion: Has the right tools, Fast, Negotiable Got quotes and talked with 3 different contractors. First was cheap and sketchy, Second had good reviews and had good pricing, Third was Island Concrete. (Will be honest he was the most expensive but also was able to negotiate to almost match others price and I don't think the others would have done as good of a job.) Island Concrete was the only contractor that mentioned the potential issues that the other contractors didn't bring up. Venly also had very useful suggestions as he saw that my idea wasn't going to look to good. He was right. Final result looks good and was done right. I have a security camera that I watched to see if they skipped any steps. Just want to bring up some more important things about Island Concrete. 1) I hired them same day they came out to do the quote. He was able to bring his professional tools on site that night and ripped the entire driveway out and dug up the 2 extensions. The concrete was pored and finished the next day. 2) When the Concrete truck was coming in it knocked out one of the overhead power lines to my house. I was away from home during this time. When I got home he got it it was already fixed but I noticed it was replaced. Neighbors told me what happened and that Venly had PSE come out and fix it properly and waited to make sure nothing went wrong. Neighbors also mentioned that he did a very good job and worked very hard all day. I obviously didn't have to pay for the power line issue but I just wanted to bring up how everything was taken care of before I gotten home professionally and Venly never asked for money to fix it. 3) They cleaned up nicely didn't leave any mess. After the job was done I noticed some touch-up stuff. They came the next day and solved my issues. 4) Venly was able to negotiate and wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. <-- Most important."

"They almost finished but I made the mistake of paying when they were almost done. They didn't show up to remove the last of the plywood forms for the retaining wall. I called at least 4 times and requested that Nelson, the owner of the Co. to send someone to complete the job. He told me 4 times ok and gave me a day when they would come to do that. All 4 times no one showed up. And no one called to say they wouldn't be there. I feel that Nelson was playing with me but do not understand why? I paid in full. $12,000 + tax. Also, he requested I make the check out to his name. I don't know if that is legal to do or not. But I did it."

"Had multiple bids on concrete I needed completed and was in a bit of a time constraint, Rick was prompt to come to the house and give a bid, his opinion on what was the best and most cost effective thing to do. Very professional and to the point without the sales pitch I received from other contractors. I could tell he wasn’t like the used car salesman and really cared about what he was doing and strived to make me feel confident and excited what the results would be.
