"Jack and his crew are incredibly nice, knowledgeable, skilled, and easy to work with. They did a fantastic job, and were so respectful of our home! I hardly knew they were here half the time, they were so low-key. We had them do the baseboards and outer door frames on our living, dining, and hallway areas. We'd refinished the wood floors over the summer, and hadn't gotten around to painting and installing the new trim, and finally just realized we didn't want to do it ourselves, and hired it out. They completed the work yesterday, which was well in line with our agreements, and it turned out beautifully! I just walked down the hall, and said internally, "Wow, this looks so great." ? My partner said the same thing when he got home and inspected it. We're both impressed and pleased with it, and Isaac's attention to detail, and willingness to be super diligent for me, were highly valuable! "I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! "This is the 3rd time we've used Affordable Joe's and as always, he is thorough and efficient. He arrived on time with a partner and they got to work right away. He was able to get rid of light carpet stains plus nearly remove a deeper nail polish stain. Joe is a bit rugged and "rough around the edges" but once he warms up he's quite friendly. He is honest about what can and can't be done. The price truly is affordable and done with quality. The cleaning product used also leaves a nice lemony scent which is a plus.

"We received three estimates on this work, and SD Water Damage/Restoration was almost 5K less than the two others, who were also on Angie's List. The workers arrived on time (or slightly early) for the estimate meeting and on work days. The woodwork was outstanding, and the workmen even made small repairs at no cost on several drawers. Our impression of Mr. Bennett, who did the actual woodwork, was that he was a craftsman of the highest quality and took pride in his work on every level. If we had it to do again, we would have draped off the living room, as the sanding required extensive cleaning afterward. We would recommend this company for honesty, integrity and value to anyone."
