Customers say: Super punctual

"Everything was completed to my satisfaction. They did a very good job in some of the difficult areas. For example, painting around thick vines growing on porch columns and beam. Everything I pointed out in the inspection was taken care of promptly with no excuses. Communication was good with everyone involved. I would have no qualms about using company again or recommending to others. Following are a couple of minor issues we had. A few minor issues: We had 3 gallons of left over trim paint. That seemed like an error in estimating amount needed. On the other hand, there was only 1/2 gal. of main color left which is what I would expect for trim also. My hot tub was unplugged before they started because it was empty. The crew plugged it in when they finished without checking with me. It was several hours before I noticed it. I had to reset the heater unit but no damage was done."

"Dustin and Troy came to our new house in Weiser to inspect our roof and talk about its condition and what we might do or not do. They showed up on time, which made me happy. They seemed to be polite and energetic young men. They explained what they were going to do and then they did it. After inspecting the roof, they came inside crawl through the attic taking pictures. They told us what they found and what we needed to do if we want toâ no pressure, no gimmicks, and so far no problems. We decided to replace the roof, so Dustin took us through the whole process of what, when, how much, and did it with a smile! Troy was there to keep Dustin in line and make sure he got it right. Both men were pleasant to work with, and fun to talk to. They seemed to know their business, and as I have been in construction most of my life, I was happy."

"I don't usually write reviews online, but in this situation I cannot help myself. I was blown away by Mark's responsiveness and work ethic. I venture to say that Mark is faster, smarter, more efficient, and more detail-oriented than most any contractor. I was in a desperate situation (had to fire another contractor for unfortunate reasons and NEEDED our only tub replaced and bathroom tiled so my fiancé could use it to recover from surgery in a few days). Mark problem-solved quickly, told me to buy a new tub, and came over Friday at 5 after his regular work day to help me get the tub replaced in under 2 hours. After asking his wife first (classy), he offered to work over the weekend to get the job done. We worked side by side to knock out the bathroom in 2 very long days. Being a new home owner, I was jazzed to learn how to tile and Mark was an excellent leader and teacher. Honestly, I could go on and on. This guy is for real. He's professional, skilled, and efficient as all get out. I'm sure he isn't perfect, but I think you'd be very hard pressed to find a better skilled or more enjoyable contractor in the area. "

"I don’t normally write reviews. My wife and I are extremely happy with Cody’s work that he did for us, I am more satisfied with his finished work than the previous company I had used for years,” Affordable Landscape maintenance service.” He is a nice young man with a good attention to detail and a good work ethic. He does a great job! His rates are also fair and affordable, he now does all the weekly maintenance of our yard."

"I originally called F/X repairs several months before we actually met but because the closing of the property kept getting delayed in escrow, I kept having to delay getting bids to repair the place for rental. I asked Bob at that time to call me back in two weeks which he did. He was friendly, we got delayed again, he called again and each time he called back exactly when he said he would. Finally, in late November we closed on the property and he came by the next week to give me a bid. He checked out all the things I wanted done, wrote down the repairs needed, looked at what needed painting and wrote everything down. I liked him a lot and was thinking I was likely to use him for the whole project if the bid was in my ballpark between $3500-5000. He told me he'd get me the proposal and bid on Friday (it was Wednesday) and we parted very friendly. Then nothing. Nothing. No call. No email. I waited 10 days, got other bids and went another direction. I was a bid dumbfounded because he had been so friendly. Curiosity finally got the better of me and I gave him a call just to find out what happened. I actually wondered if something bad might have happened. Anyway, he was apologetic, said he had no excuse, and just didn't get it done. Oh well, no harm no foul. I guess I'm glad I didn't hire him and find out later he (they) just wouldn't show up.

"

I was very pleased with the outcome of this project. I had one hiccup wherein the person bidding the job didn't fully consider the details of the work. When the project manager reviewed, he said that the proposed solution wouldn't work for my exterior door (my frame wasn't suitable after all) plus he found that the extent of damage to the siding warranted additional replacements. I ended up with a pricey change-order.

However, I'm happy with the outcome! The workers were always courteous and professional. I have one area of siding that's particularly tricky due to the shape of the house, and they did an EXCELLENT job on this area. As soon as the weather allowed, the painter arrived to finish the work. He did an amazing job of matching the existing color: you can't even tell what's old and what's new!

Throughout, the project manager (Kirk) was a pleasure to work with. He was always honest and forthright, and returned my calls and emails in a very timely manner. Also, he has a great skill set for both construction and management so it was easy to put my trust in him.

Our homes are oftentimes our largest investment and, as such, you don't want to have 'just anyone' work on it. I would recommend Prestige Design to anyone, and plan to use them on my next project.

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Mcminnville, OR

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
