"This is only the most recent repair but Ralph has repaired multiple things in our home. He is the absolute best handyman I’ve had had the pleasure of meeting in downtown Charleston. He has the perfect balance of charm and professionalism. Him and his team come in and immediately get down to business. It’s so refreshing to see someone who actually cares about helping you."

"Josh and the team from Hometown Construction did a GREAT job with our full home remodel. Josh is a great communicator, he provided us with a detailed quote, made the process easy to understand and helped guide us through all our decision making along the way. I would recommend Hometown Construction to anyone looking to complete remodel work on their house. We renovated a kitchen, multiple bathrooms, replaced the flooring and painted the interior of our home. While there were challenges along the way, Josh kept us moving forward and delivered on keeping us on schedule and budget. We all hear stories about nightmare contractor issues, but I’m here to tell you that we didn’t experience anything like that with Josh at Hometown. He executed our project with the highest level of professionalism and delivered on every expectation we had. I will hire Josh again for a couple smaller projects that didn’t fit into our initial scope. Thanks Josh and the team at Hometown Construction!"

"Steven did a great job making improvements on my closet which is also my laundry room, very friendly, efficient and professional"

"Andy did an excellent job, highly recommend"

"I am very pleased with my kitchen remodel. They stayed on schedule and there were no cost overruns or other unexpected issues. Adam Parker built my parents' house back in 2006 so I knew the type of work he did, and he's bringing the same quality and workmanship to the remodels that he does."

"Working with Will was great. He was the best as far as working within our specific budget, and always brought great ideas to the table. It was common for him to go above and beyond, and when scheduling conflicts came up, he was quick to communicate the plan forward. Anytime I have another project, he s my first call"

"Ben not only does good work, is efficient, and is great at communicating on project updates, but he also helps think through projects. We werenâ t exactly sure how to reconfigure our kitchen, when taking down some walls. Ben gave us great ideas on how to do it in a way that thought about how weâ d ultimately want to use the space."

"great communication, showed up on time, was flexible to add extra small items while on site, worked efficiently, cleaned up after work! thank you Josh"

"Brandon is the most personable and thoughtful contractor I have ever come across. He took the time to hear my goals and immediately got to work on designs and drawings. He was very timely with everything and so easy to work with. Finished product was absolutely perfect."

"If you're looking for pros who will do outstanding work using high quality materials, then Baker Building Solutions is definitely worth talking to. They redid my family room, putting in a large new fireplace with a beautiful stone surround, walnut shelving with lighting, and custom walnut cabinets. They replaced the top of a pony wall separating the family room and the kitchen with a walnut bar top. Very durable and waterproof. Finally, the replaced my stair railings, banisters, and associated trim. Again with walnut. The result is spectacular and catches the eye of all who have seen it."
