"I had Joe’s Yard Service redo basically my entire backyard and it turned out awesome. They took out an old concrete patio that was falling apart, removed the grass, leveled everything out, and put in a big paver patio. They also handled outdoor lighting, sprinklers, new grass, and added river rock along the side. Joe was super easy to work with the whole time. He always got back to me quickly and didn’t mind stopping by to explain things or walk through ideas. That made a big difference since this was a pretty big project. For a project of this size (around $32k), I felt like the pricing was fair. They got everything done pretty quickly, but more importantly it was done right. The quality shows. I also appreciated that Joe would point out ways to save money and put it toward other parts of the project instead of just upselling everything. "They were great. Mary and Max came out to our home one evening and sketched out a complete design for the lighting of our front yard. We requested this both for aesthetic and safety reasons (outdoor steps that could easily lead to falls). They worked with us for about three hours and completed a comprehensive plan to accomplish these objectives. A couple of months later they came out and implemented the plan. My wife and I are absolutely delighted. Both objectives were masterfully satisfied. The front of the house is beautifully but very subtly highlighted. The pavers and stairways are easy to identify. The whole project looks absolutely great. Real professionals and a great company. Give the a call."

"Joe came and proposed a plan of lighting for our long driveway, parking areas, and house accents.  Joe was honest with his recommendations and didn't try to over sell anything. We were impressed with his plant knowledge, landscape ideas and vision of lighting accents. We approved the design and his team came and installed the lights a week earlier than they had planned so that we would have the lighting for a holiday party!  The crew was respectful, easy to work with, neat, and finished their work on time even though a piece of their equipment broke and had to be replaced.  It was hard to give an "A" for the price because lighting is not inexpensive to have installed but we got another quote which was higher and Joe had far more expertise. We highly recommend this company, Joe and his crew! <br />"

"Igor arrived on time, assessed lighting needs, went to purchase lights, and returned directly to install.  The installation is great and we like the new lights.  The only comment I have would be that I would have liked the option to go purchase the lights myself, rather than paying electrician rates for the time it took him to go buy them. <br />"

"In the past we've also used them to do irrigation system tuneups and repairs  (they found a hidden valve that was broken).  In general we've always found them to be efficient, professional, and low cost.  We only had one problem and it might not have been Aquasense's fault.  One year, after they turned on the irrigation system in the spring, we got a very large water bill.  Many times normal.  It turned out the irrigation system had a leak.  Aquasense said that the leak was not present when they turned on the system.  But if so the leak must have started start soon after that.  I bring this up as a reminder to all to check your water meter immediately after and then shortly after turning it on the spring to see any leaks exist.  There was no obvious sign of leak above ground, yet our water bill was over a thousand dollars for a 2 week period (between when the irrigation system was turned on and the water company read the meter.) <br /> <br />"

"Our bedroom heat was powered by an old electric wall heater, and it wasn't doing the job anymore. It would blast heat at random intervals, and the heat didn't permeate the room very well. Our room was freezing when the heater was off or not blasting. I first had a heating company come take a look, and they told me I would need an electrician to do the job. They recommended Queen Anne Electric. <br /> Justin from Queen Anne Electric came out and recommended a $500 Convectair radiant wall panel to improve our heat situation. The work was scheduled for 2 weeks later. We are very happy with what he recommended--the panel is great and spreads the heat without blasting, and has an accurate thermostat. QAE did other odds an end while here, including installing some light fixtures and fixing a couple of odd timer switches and replacing them with regular switches. The total bill for this first visit was $1,465, including the cost of the radiant panel. They were here about one day. <br /> We were very happy with Justin's knowledge and the skill and speed of the electricians who were on site. So, we had them back to install an overhead light in the living room of our old tudor house (our LR had no overhead lighting at all prior to this). I was a little nervous because the walls are lath and plaster--other contractors weren't sure at all that we could run wiring without destroying the plaster. Justin said they could run the wiring by making just a few holes instead of trenching the entire wall and ceiling. The work was scheduled for about 2 weeks later. They did a great job, making only four smallish holes that our house painter was easily able to patch. While here, QAE also installed several light fixtures and did some other odds and ends. This took about one day and the cost was $907. <br /> The only reason I gave a "B" for responsiveness is sometimes I had to email a couple of times to get answers to questions before the work began. I think this is simply because they are busy. My experience is that good electricians are extremely busy, moreso than any other kind of contractor. Overall they were very organized with appointment times, estimating, and invoicing. <br /> <br />"
