"Technician Troy arrived on time, professional and courteous. Even though he couldn't fully repair the leaking water connection, he provided accurate information for owner to purchase the correct materials. Leak/s have been fixed and very happy with the response of Auger's Plumbing."

Customers say: Quality work

"SPR gave me a fair estimate to rip out my existing shower and replace it with tile. They also put me in contact with someone who might be able to repair the existing shower floor for considerably less than their total replacement cost estimate. Although I did not hire them for this shower job, I did have them do other plumbing work for me. They had someone out to fix my kitchen sink within a couple hours and he did an excellent job. I will definitely call this company for my future plumbing needs and I will highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors."

"Gladiator Plumbing did a wonderful job renovating the kitchen piping, laundry piping and shower floor along with replacing the cast iron stack pipes. Ricky was easy to work with and would explain what was needed. This made for a smooth process. We are happy customers!!!"

"I asked Matt to replace from plumbing in a condo I am watching while the owner is away, in Waverly Place. Those condos are small and plumbing access is not easy. Matt was nice enough to tell me that some of my requests did not actually need replacing. That saved me a lot of money. Matt arrived on time and was very professional and neat. He is friendly enough but he gets straight to work so no time is wasted. I thought he was very reasonable and would hire him again without question. I have his number saved in my phone for future plumbing needs. Thanks Matt."

"Pretty high markup if you can not opt to buy on your own and have Ben Franklin install. I am ninety four and no longer fit to shop for proper fixture....My son bought and installed similar faucet fixture for himself at about one quarter my cost."

"Danny was very instructive in determining we should have put in a gas instead of an electric tankless water heater you did an excellent job on writing all the pipes and setting it up for us including return visits to adjust the temperature to my wife's liking"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Melbourne, FL

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
