"My sump pump float switch quit working overnight when it was raining and I woke up to a stinky, flooded crawlspace. Jan had me go down and take some photos to make sure he would send me an accurate quote for the work and parts, and after I sent the photos he gave me a call back and walked me through a few steps I could take to see if I could get the pump working and drain the water out before they came out for the repair, instead of just sending someone out and charging me for all the time that would take. Best of all, his advice worked and after draining the flood I was actually able to understand how the system worked and replace the switch myself. I did receive the quote for the work Vanguard would have done and it was clear, professional, and extremely fair (especially considering the location and condition of my sump pit). I felt that I was treated with a great deal of respect and courtesy, which was such a pleasant surprise it actually turned around how negatively I was feeling about the flood etc. I will 100% call them again for any work I need."

We decided to put in a new system that has a lot more safeguards. Our system, besides needing a new back up sump and battery, was antiquated a had issues with safeguards failing. This system is more technologically advanced than our old one and pumps more water out to boot. It also has more safeguards and fail safe measures.
