"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"I've decided to do the work myself with some help from my son. The price was way more than I thought it would be and I could use some natural materials and spend less money. The representative from the company was professional and knew his product but, over $ 14,000 for a tub/shower replacement was way more than I wanted to spend."

"I asked for an estimate for window replacement.   It was 2-3 weeks until someone could come and give an estimate and then it took over a month to get an estimate in writing.  He was very pleasant but unfortunately not timely.  Also his estimate came in much higher than others.

"When we purchased the Market Ready service from TNTS through Angie's List back in December 2014, I expected that our $89 would buy us a visit from someone who would simply walk through our home and point out things that, if improved, would make our home ready to be put on the market for sale. However, when Brandon and Leslie arrived, they exceeded every expectation we had! A Black-owned business, local to Milton (our hometown), a man with significant contracting experience, savvy, and extremely persuasive. By the time he left, we felt TNTS was our dream come true. Finally, someone who would get into the boat with us! TNTS would have as much interest in preparing our home for sale, selling it, and purchasing a new home for us as we did ourselves

We were impressed with his professionalism and would recommend you to others.

Our only disappointment was their inexperience working with large insurance claims. By February, our home was severely damage by ice dams. We were never able to enter into a contract to renovate our home and make it ready for sale.

"UPDATE: The owner of the company, Anthony, called me to apologize for the way his inspector handled my mold inspection and refunded me in full for what I paid. He was very sympathetic on the phone and put an emphasis on how important it is to him to have happy customers. I've since upgraded my rating to a "C"....

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I honestly was expecting a third party non-biased mold and water damage inspection when I bought this company's Water Damage and Mold Test special on Angie?s List. However after having the test performed I feel as though this company?s sole mission was to drum up new work for their mold remediation and restoration business.

First off the inspector showed up to my house late and walked in sporting a bit of a condescending attitude. He also answered several phone calls in front of me during his visit, off to an irritating start. He performed a 10 min mold test with a test swab stick labeled 3M ?Clean-Trace Surface Protein Plus? on an area of my water damaged wall. He told me that if the test turns green there is a ?mild amount? of mold present and if it turns purple then there is a ?toxic? level of mold present. Well the test turned purple within 10 minutes and the inspector then advised me that I should get it remediated as soon as possible and essentially not to wait another day or my family could get sick. He told me that it would cost me about $5,600 for his company to do the remediation work on the section of my wall that showed damage (about 60 sq/ft of wall area) and that they could get started in 2 or 3 days.

I always get a few different opinions and do my research before accepting a proposal so the first thing I did after he left was to look up the 3M test stick that he used. I?ve seen, and personally used, a number of DIY mold tests before and had never seen this test before. On 3M?s website they indicate that this test is a ?Surface Hygiene Test? for use in Food Services & Catering industries for determining the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation in food preparation areas to help to reduce the risk of food safety incidents! No mention of MOLD anywhere. It goes on to state that the test is used to help to reduce the risk of biological contamination, where proteins and food residues on surfaces could potentially provide nutrients for spoilage or pathogenic bacteria to thrive. Ok so it detects if there is a food source for pathogens to potentially survive on a surface but that doesn?t mean that it detects if there is any MOLD growing there or that it is capable of indicating the quantity or toxicity levels of any mold that might be present which is how the inspector was marketing this test to me. Furthermore the documentation for the test states that the visual color change is an indicator of the level of cleanliness and if the test turns green the surface is clean (not mildly moldy as the inspector told me) and if it turns purple the surface is dirty (not that there are toxic levels of mold present).

I did a little more research and found complaints of other companies on the Better Business Bureau?s website using the same test essentially as a scare tactic to get mold remediation work in air-conditioning ducts and another site warning of a ?Mold Scam? where testers offered discounted coupons for mold testing and again inappropriately used this same test stick. Both sites point out that the only accurate way to really determine the amount, type and toxicity of mold potentially present is through laboratory testing.  I?ve since had a sample of the damaged wall sent off to a laboratory that specifically does mold testing and the results came back as negative for any sort of ?toxic? mold.

Over all I feel like this company tried to play me and is dishonest in their approach and the tactics they use to gain business. I would personally not recommend them or use them again."
