"Barn Rescue – My barn was hit by a vehicle, which broke a large post and pushed section of siding out from under the roofline, plus major damage at ground level. Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Come spring, they fully replaced the damaged section’s support members and facade, and added bracing to the attic, rendering it stronger than before. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. They dug and poured a dozen footings and lally columns, supporting a line of new 6x6 and 9x9 beams that provide solid support to the house above. "Over a period of about 16 months, C&J Construction Services performed extensive renovations on my 155 year-old house.  They started in January 2012 with exterior renovations, which included new shingles and exterior trim, new windows and doors, new porch, entryway and roof (including replacement of underlay), as well as a new bulkhead, rebuilt chimney, and stonework around the exterior. All were done with my input on designand preference and the workl was carried out with exceptional attention to quality materials and workmanship - reflecting an exceptional level of skill and motivation to do a quality job.



|After a few months' break, we undertook the interiors and worked collaboratively on demo and renovation of nearly the entire interior, inclding the installation of a kitchen appliances and granite countertops, a new shower and new sinks and toilet fixtures in two bathrooms, including the structural underlay to accommodate a 100 year-old footed tub that come with the house.
