"I submitted 2 separate attic insulation projects. One for foam and one for blown-in fiberglass. I selected Thermo Shield to do blown-in even though they only showed up on the foam project list. I first met with Nick to discuss the project. He was very professional and answered all my questions. Once we selected them, an appointment was set for an energy audit and the actual project. Caden performed the energy audit. He was very professional as well. Wayne and his son were the team that completed the project. They arrived promptly, explained what they would be doing and got to work. They completed the project in under 3 hours, taking care to clean up when they were done. A neighbor also went with Thermo Shield for his house as well, which was completed on the same day. He had the same great experience."

"Wayne have a fair quote. I went with another company and I was sorry I did, price nearly doubled within two hours of arrival. I fired them and called Wayne back. Today he and his crew did an awesome job on removal of all the insulation under my home. He suggested a spray foam application with another contractor instead of doing the new install himself. That is saving me money. What great customer service, putting the clients needs above making a buck. If I ever have family or friends in need of insulation services I will send them to MY INSULATION GUY without hesitation. THANK YOU WAYNE!!"

"The two man crew arrived right on the designated time, explained what they would do and prepped for spraying the insulation. They showed me before and after pictures. Cleaned up after themselves before leaving."

Kasi is a local, family-owned and operated spray foam insulation contractor. We service Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott, and northern Arizona. Two brothers, Patrick and Paul Kariniemi, founded Kasi in 2010. Prior to starting Kasi, Patrick spent ten years with a spray foam roofing company in Phoenix and Paul was an industrial construction contractor in Minnesota. Although we’ve tested nearly every foam insulation product available in Arizona, we’ve only purchased foam from a few suppliers. We have an 11-year long relationship with our injected foam manufacturer and a five year long relationship with our spray foam supplier. Since each foam insulation product has its own application characteristics, we’ve found that you have a lot fewer problems by sticking with reputable manufacturers who stand behind their products. As a result, our technicians are experts in the products they install.\n\n

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Mesa, AZ

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
