I went and purchased a new tank unit parts replacement for the plumber. When the guys arrived they found my plug was just hardened and offered to fix it for free and not charge me the $249.00 install of the parts I purchased. This saved me over $300.00. "Just moved into a new house. Discovered the curbside water main valve was impossible to turn on my own. I contacted a different plumbing company and requested an estimate for putting in a private water main valve between the city valve and my home.
