When the guys arrived they found my plug was just hardened and offered to fix it for free and not charge me the $249.00 install of the parts I purchased. This saved me over $300.00. They refused to even let me pay for a service call so instead I tipped the two guys for their honesty and generosity. "Jesse came to asses and bid the job and gave me different options. I thought my water heater was 12yrs old-13maybe, but it was over 20. More bids/estates came in much higher than theirs AND I also learned from others I could buy my own water heater and pay a plumber for insulation only. "I had originally had another company look at my toilet which was leaking and wobbling. I was told that the pipe connecting the toilet to the sewer pipe was damaged and needed replacing. It would have to be jack hammered out and replaced, and then re-cemented into place. The estimate turned out to be $2800+. I checked with Casa View Plumbing and they said they would do the same work for $2500. I decided to retain them. When the tech arrived and inspected the drain, he informed me there was nothing wrong with the drain. He replaced the toilet flange, and wax ring. I also had him rebuild the toilet flush mechanism, as well as replace my lavatory sink drain. The total came to $840. He could have easily done the more expensive job and I'd not have known the difference. With tile replacement, that would have had to be done, he saved me close to $3000. I most definitely recommend them and will use them again."
