"I have lived in my home for 30 years and while we have cleaned our chimney I have never had a "professional chimney sweep". <br /> I selected Gina ( the owner) by Angie's list reviews in my area,,,,THAT WAS SMARTER THAN I THOUGHT. I got a prompt and professional returned call from my inquiry. I was surprised that Gina was able to give me an exact price quote before coming out. She was very nice, professional explained to me exactly what would happen and who would come and the time frame to expect. <br /> She was on point with scheduling! <br /> I was particularly happy to hear the history of the business and it helped me decide. The company was started by her father a retired fire fighter , and now she is in business with him if I understand that correct. I was in the middle of a remodel, she was very accommodating about meeting me and was right on schedule. There were three people, all very nice. The man who actually did the cleaning is a retired fire fighter himself, that was reassuring to know who was looking at the chimney. No mess AT ALL! <br /> My husband mentioned we needed a new something or other at the top so I asked them to check it. I was prepared to pay the extra money for a repair that we knew nothing about. Luckily for me they were honest and said everything was good and not in need of repairs only regular maintenance. You never know if you're gonna get a used car salesman in situations like this , but clearly they are honest and practice good business. <br /> All in all I was very happy! I would highly recommend them for any service based on my experience with them. Its important to support local businesses in your community, and I am glad I did. "I was given the option of several colors of architectural shingles. The owner and project manager even got matching roof vents and and drip edge so it gave the new roof more of a completed look. Most roofers just use galvanized drip edge and it really stands out. During the work, there were a couple of minor issues. However, Mr. Edgar, Ms. Brittney, and Mr. Carlos were all very quick to get the problems fixed and make sure the project was done to my satisfaction. The roof was replaced one day, including clean up and removal of debris. I have had a leaking roof for several months that ruined new dry wall work and now I'm shocked that there is no water when it rains!! I have had my roof replaced before and it has never been this simple! Even with the other problems, it was still the best experience I have ever had. Additionally, there was an Angie's list coupon for 5% off that the company was not aware of, but they honored it anyway. The owner told me he wants to get the job done with the same care and attention to detail as he would for his own home. After my experience, I know he is telling the truth and will truly do what is required to make sure your job is done correctly!"

"Got the last-minute siding maintenance deal. <br /> It was a while ago, but I remember that he rescheduled a couple of times, and then when he did come he was late and seemed irritated. He looked at the house and gave me an astronomical estimate to basically replace all the weatherboards. (I told him I knew they were in kindof rough shape, but I didn't need the whole house to be redone-- I just wanted to see if he could fix a couple of the bad ones.)  It felt like he was totally annoyed and condescending with me because my house wasn't perfect and because I live in a neighborhood that's a little rough. Seemed like he was not exactly used to being called out to an area like my 'hood.  We agreed that he could do some minimal work to at least get the value of the angie's list deal purchase. Weeks went by and nobody never called to follow up.  <br /> Maybe he just had a bad day--everyone has one, and I understand that--but my experience was not a good one.  <br /> I ended up calling Angie's list and they refunded my money for the deal. <br />"
