"On the first day, the work crew arrived at 7:45AM and began putting tarps around the house to catch the old tiles, felt, and nails; they also removed statuary from around the house so it would not be broken.  The crew was tearing off the old tile and felt before 8:00AM.  There were thirteen in the crew including the foreman.  Some of the workers were tearing off, some of the workers were gathering up the old items and tossing them down onto tarps, being careful to avoid vegetation, and the rest of the crew were stacking and then placing the old tiles and felt into a trailer to be hauled away.  The crew stopped for a half hour lunch and began working as hard afterwards.  My mother's house is quite large, so they removed the old roofing material from only the main part of the house, leaving the separate laundry room and garage for the next day.  After the ground crew was finished picking up the large pieces, they spent time cleaning the area over and over again with long magnates and even detailing the yard carrying a 5 gallon bucket.  Just as it began getting dark, the crew finished replacing the last hip and ridge and the final cleanup.  The next morning, before the crew arrived, I walked the grounds and found only a handful of small pieces of trash and no nails!  The crew again arrived before 8:00AM, they quickly stripped the remaining roof and started the cleaning process all over again.  By Noon or a little after, the crew was completely finished with the job and the project manager and I walked the grounds again, finding only a couple handfuls of trash.  I checked the house the next day and found some nails in the ceiling that had "popped" because of the hammering on the roof.  I also walked the roof and discovered a few areas that I wasn't quite satisfied with...I notified the project manager and the crew came back two days later (due to inclement weather) and repaired the areas properly, even repairing the nail "pops" inside the house.  Mr. Troy Hake has a wonderful crew and you will be very well satisfied with their knowledge and work ethics if you have the opportunity to hire this contractor!!"

"This repair went well. I am very satisfied with  Southern Grace Exteriors. The worker was a consummate professional. This was a two-day repair. On the first day, he gave me a call prior to the appointed time to remind me that he was on his way. He showed not long before the appointed time, gathered details about my concern, and went right to work. After examining the problem area, he provided me with the details about what was causing the leak. He show me pictures of the damage up close and informed me what it was I was seeing. Any questions I had were answered in a polite and professional manner. He rescheduled for another day to make the repairs. Again, he showed slightly before the appointment time and took care of business. He was actually done making the repairs much more quickly than I anticipated. He took up close pictures of the finished product and shared them with me. Though he could have milked me for additional payment, he did not. The beginning: The estimate and contract were handled professionally by Cory. After appropriate down payment was provided, materials were delivered as promised. Cory had told us that it could take 5 to 6 weeks to finish the job; however Mario and his crew did the job in less than two weeks. Very quick and efficient. We couldn't believe how hard this siding crew worked - they arrived promptly in the early morning and worked until dark, cleaning up every evening before they left. This house is a very large house that has over 4,000 sq. ft. of siding.

The crew did their best to strip off only what they could cover that day, and never left our house unprotected during the installation cycle. We had a few rainy days during the project, but the crew worked through and around the storms. Mario and the rest of the SRS installation crew worked with me and handled all of my various questions satisfactorily along the way.

After the siding and trim were installed, all seams were caulked with matching materials. Then the remaining trim - soffits, fascia and gutters were painted.

A side note: this project started out in the spring as a simple paint job, and after a hail and wind storm interrupted the project it changed into a siding repair and paint to one end of the house. When it was discovered that the siding could not be matched, Cory worked with us and the insurance company to come to a satisfactory settlement that resulted in a complete siding replacement for the entire house. It took some convincing for the insurance company, but Cory stuck with it working with the adjusters and my agent to reach a satisfactory result. During this tiring and frustrating process, Cory hung in and revised the estimates and contracts to match our needs. Real customer service!

The Result: The house looks like a new house, better than it has ever looked - even on the day it was completed 28 years ago. I personally read every page of the James Hardie installation manual for certified installers, and to the best of my knowledge Mario and his crew followed the recommendations to the letter. We are very pleased with how nice the house looks, now. Our house is the talk of the neighborhood.

"The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof. The provider was great and tried his best to get something done to my roof but Choice Warranty was horrible and no help. They get a "zero" from me"
