We hired this exceptional shop to replace all the old knob and tube wiring (along with switching out a number of light fixtures and installing several ceiling fans) in our 120-year-old Victorian home – a challenging job that a couple of other electricians didn’t feel confident undertaking. Owner Jack McCurdy personally came to size up the job and give us a detailed estimate, and his professionalism, courtesy and extensive knowledge sold us. What was originally thought to be a two-week job was finished in six working days as foreman Joe Costain efficiently deployed his crew and brought in a second crew on a few days to expedite the work. Joe was great at communicating what kind of activity we could expect day-to-day, especially as both my wife and I are working from home fulltime during the COVID pandemic. He and the crew checked in frequently on our preferences, minimized the number of holes in the ceilings and walls (including avoiding harming our wallpaper in a couple of rooms altogether), and cleaned up well at the end of every day. Their pricing was reasonable and while they weren't the lowest quote on the project, they seemed to have the best insight into what it would entail and how to make it look best. "Brandon showed up to install recessed lights and other electrical work as part of a kitchen renovation. He clearly explained my options and advised on best approaches as well as best practices. Before installing the lights, he went through a few specifics of how the process would work, specific to my home, where there was a central air duct to potentially contend with close to a spot where I wanted one of the lights and we discussed the approach so I knew what to expect in advance. He was careful and conscientious about my protecting my new floors, before beginning work, he carefully planned out the lights, carefully installed them by himself quickly but without rushing, and then helped me plan out other phases of the electrical work for project. Phenomenal experience, and a really hardworking guy. "I hired Eric Pohlmeyer to do some electrical work and he went above and beyond. I just wanted to upgrade some outlets to GFCI outlets. This included moving a dated stove and washer dryer. Eric moved both to fit in behind to install new outlets. He also brought in a ladder to raise a hanging light. He was patient, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely hire him again and I highly recommend his work."

"Just call these guys. There. Done. James and his brother, Daniel, came out to move a wall installed TV. I wanted it lower and the job entailed moving two outlets lower as well, then patching the drywall. These two were great: very knowledgable, incredibly professional, highly skilled, very friendly, cleaned up over and over while working (the mom in me LOVED that) and charged a very fair price. I felt they went above and beyond what most installers would do and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the job. Even better? They will come weekends and evenings at no extra charge. I highly recommend them. Just had to come back and say that, because Daniel did such a fabulous job repairing my drywall and painting after my TV was moved, I hired him to come and repair drywall with water damage and repaint that as well.
