"I paid in advance, based on Trust, and influenced by the Pipe-surgeons website overview. I would not recommend paying in advance. I have always read that sharp corners in sewage pipes can collect paper and cause clogs, and the glue manufacturers recommend all corners be rounded. This is a mark of quality work I did not receive. There was additional work required after a failed inspection. Adding this work to my cost was not in the agreement. A journeyman plumber and an apprentice did the work, backed by a master plumber. The journeyman was methodical and competent, as best I could tell, but I concluded he really did not enjoy the work, it was a job that required plenty of manual labor, but was not at all untypical of any ; Underground ; plumbing, required under a slab."

"Very likable person when you meet him, makes you feel very comfortable, but don't let that sway you like it did me. Estimate was $18,940 Low Balls the estimate and blames you for choosing higher cost items. Like you are in the remodeling business and know how much everything cost, because if you had, you would have realized his estimate was not for real. Told me in two different emails(black and white) before the job started i would not have a kitchen for 2 weeks and the job would be done. And he starts the job that ended up being 3 weeks, but of course he said he told me it could be up to 3 weeks and of course he has a excuse for his employee's and other jobs he was working on at the same time as mine."

"Do NOT use this company unless you want to be charged astronomically higher than what you should be. I had a furnace/air system put in and charged over 10,000 when unit itself costs a little over 3,000. Had pipes in kitchen alone done and charged 2,800 and left the wall out from floor to ceiling where pipes went. Now 5 years after purchasing this unit tried to charge me $800 for a part repair that was under warranty so that was for labor alone went elsewhere and had done for $180. They take advantage of people that aren’t knowledgeable on what stuff like this should cost. Don’t appreciate repeat customers and you will never pay a fair price avoid at all costs."

"The bathroom project came out well however it took him months to complete my small bathroom and i had to ask him multiple times about his status. He for a month straight blamed the window guy for the lack of progress on the bathroom. When he said the job was finished there were very clear flaws in the drywall I shouldn't have had to point out and some of the tasks we verbally agreed on like venting bathroom fan he just left laying in the attic. If I didn't check over his work my attic would have had mold growing all over it, I ended up not even pressing him about it and finishing his job myself. At the end of the day he did very well with the tile and he gave me a good price but the time he took to complete the job was a little ridiculous and I was kind of shocked at what he was willing to say was a completed job."

"I will try to be brief....we bought a new Lennox system (heat pump) in July 2019, 3 months after install it stopped working. Over 14 service calls later the unit was finally "fixed " in July 2021 after the techs had to consult with someone from Lennox. So now it is May 2022...about 9 months later and unit stopped working again, almost made it an entire year! We are Comfy Club members, so I called and lady said she will have tech out, tech calls and I explain problem to him, he says will be there within hour, so far so good. Tech arrives and starts off by saying that if it is drain clog, we will have to pay him. I said we are Comfy Club members and he said doesn't matter. I then explain the unit has not worked than 3 months in a row, he corrected me saying they were last here in July 21 for a service call. He went under house and pulled little drain cut off switch out and dumped water out, my Air handler is in a tall crawl space under the house. He said the drain line was clogged and opened the trap access cap and said there was water in it. Well since it was a drain trap of course there was water in it. Also every part he mentioned was installed by Fayette during original install. I mentioned that they were just here in December for our Comfy Club service and he asked if they cleaned the pan or treated it, told him don't think they did, just whatever came with service, he said that it cost extra. So apparently not..He then said he would have to charge me and I told him to bill me...he said he is supposed to wait until he gets paid. Told him he would be waiting awhile, because I was not paying him tonight. Especially since we are Comfy Club members and no one at anytime said that we would need to pay them for a service call, had I known that I would never have called this evening and waited till normal business hours. He then said that our unit is out of warranty and the Comfy Club only covers stuff inside the Air Handler...umm is the drain pan not inside the air handler? Like I said before this is first time it has worked 9 months in a row and I also think we have extended warranty, not sure without checking paperwork. I was adamant I was not paying him tonight, if they send me a bill fine. He left, he was at my house no more than 10 minutes. After he left I started thinking...my Air handler is in a tall crawl space and circulation vents are open, so it gets humid. When we were down there this evening I had a can of soda, which had condensation on it immediately. So an air handler blowing cool air would generate a lot of condensation, which would cause the switch to activate. Seems a bit odd that when he first got out of truck he seemed to know immediately what was wrong and claimed the drain was clogged. After he left I ran my Air hose into the drain line....it was not clogged!! So the issue is probably in the drain pan or possibly a bad condensation switch (overly sensitive) which according to the tech should be covered by our Comfy Club and or warranty, because it is inside the air handler. I would not recommend doing any business with this company and/or getting a Lennox...almost 3 years later and still calling about a new unit...cannot remember brand of old unit but only made 2 calls in 14 years and last call was when it was done. Comfy Club, if what tech said was true, is a waste of money don't bother with that either. Really not sure what they did in December except change an air filter."
