"Absolutely outstanding!!! My pool had cracks and I lost a lot of water, up to 2" a day. I researched several pool companies and most of them wanted to completely rebuild the entire pool, basically build a new pool inside the old one. The cost would have been 80-100K. After a lot of interviews it was clear to me that fiberglass was the only viable alternative to save the existing pool. In my area there were only 2 companies that offered fiberglass and I interviewed them both. Although both companies most likely would have done a similar job and the quotes were very compatible, I decided to go with Absolute, a younger and newer company. It was not a mistake. Absolute was able to do the job right away, which was also very important to me since I didn't want to keep my pool empty at the beginning of the rainy season. Noe and his crew arrived exactly as promised in beautiful clean white overalls. All their tools were state of the art and they wasted no time to open up every single crack and follow the leaks until they got into damage-free territory and no rusty rebars or signs of cracks were found. The cracks were then fixed with high pressure concrete and overlapping sheets of fiberglass. The waterline tiles could be saved and were skillfully covered to prepare for several layers of fiberglass, bonding everything together. The fiberglass was applied with a state-of-the-art machine and the crew worked beautifully together. Without many words everybody knew exactly what to do. It was a joy watching the team performing in their white overalls, looking more like cosmonauts then concrete workers. The construction site was kept immaculate every day, even the demolished concrete was packaged in clean plastic bags and taken off-site. There was never any trash around. My 20 year old glass tiles were sand blasted or glass-pearl blasted and looked like new. There was no mess- up, no false claim, no delay and after only six days the pool looked like new, or better than new. I truly believe, and I got some good guarantees, that the pool was saved and will be good for another 15 years or so and all of that for less than 20K. The surface is extremely easy to clean and will probably use much less chemicals. I have done a lot of construction projects in my life, but this one was one of my best and most impressive experiences I have had. I highly recommend this company. On top of all they are super nice and friendly people to work with. Don't hesitate hiring them if you have similar problems with your pool and have exhausted any other option."

"I cannot say enough good things about them.  Extremely responsive, courteous  and professional.  Took great care in wrapping the furniture and in moving it into the house (made sure it didn't scratch the walls or the floors).  Were extremely patient with us when we changed our minds with the the placement of some of the furniture (moved couches from one room to another and back again).  We also had some challenging reassembling issues that they handled no problem.

"We had Crystal Pool & Spa quote and then remodel our existing in ground plaster pool.  They were quick to do estimates, they only do it via email.  They were able to look up the build records of our pool and then quote the remodel based on size.  The pool is approx 15' wide by 32' long with 9' deep end and 3' shallow end.  There is a tiny spa, but the old homeowners removed the heater.  The Spa barely holds one person, so we opted to remove the spa wall and make a seating area for the pool.  CPS was quick to quote, started work in about two weeks and it took two weeks to finish.  Took a little longer since the tile we originally wanted was out of stock and took a few days to get tile samples as well.  Overall, all the crews worked quickly and hard and did an excellent job.  Two weeks start to finish until the pool was full of water

They left the backyard pretty clean afterwards, but the plaster guys left some plaster material in a flower planter bed, that was empty.  So I am left with cleaning that out.  Everyone was very nice and professional and the work went smoothly, very hassle free."

"My husband and I were looking to have our patio & driveway paved, and called numerous companies to come out for a quote. Through Home Improvement guide we found Exodus Construction and Remodeling Inc. read some of the reviews and decided to give them a call. Almong Dahan came out to give us a quote and assist with ideas. From the get go Al was extremely helpful, very easy to work with, and super friendly. After getting a very competitive price, my husband and I decided Exodus would be the company we would go with.  We set up our appointment to begin work at 8am Friday morning, and at exactly 8am the crew arrived. The crew of about 5 to 10 guys were all super polite and friendly. Day one was the demo, removal of cement and start of the new foundation. The crew was very clean with all their materials and totally respectful of the area around us (neighbors etc). They staged all of their tools and materials so not to create any hazards or problems for people in the neighborhood. They ended the day right around 4pm, cleaned up, and were out of here by 5pm. Day 2, once again, arrived right at 8am. They finished up the removal of cement and started with laying out sand. Once again, cleaned up well and respectful of the area. Day 3 they started laying all the pavers. Day 4 & 5 they came out (on time once again) and finished laying pavers.  Day 6 applied the sealer to the pavers. So all in all it took 6 full days.  Our patio and driveway look perfect, the planter areas are cut to perfection, the pavers look a whole lot better than we ever imagined. We've dealt with a number of contractors since living here, and Exodus was by far the most thorough and professional company we've dealt with so far. From the estimate to the final day of the job, everything went so smooth. From beginning to end Exodus impressed. "We contacted Steve through Angie List because we wanted to give our old 80 style pool a much needed and quot;faceliftand quot;. Unfortunately, to finances a full remodel is not an option at this time so we wanted to do the best we could with the limited funds we had available. We contact several pool contractors and Steve at OC Pool Technicians was the only one who seemed to undertsand our budget and needs. He came out for a consultation and told my husband the possibilities and his recomendations of how to spend our $1000 max budget. Our primary concerns were the staining and discoloration of our white pool plaster, tile, and grout. We also had a missing pool drain cover. Steve told my husband that once the acid bath was done the plaster would be white again and the discoloration and stain would be gone that he could clean up the tile and grout and that he could replace the drain cover and replace the spa light all within our budget. It took about a week to get a written estimate and after careful consideration we decided to move forward. It took about another week to schedule the start of the work. it started with draining the pool which took a couple days, then the repair of plaster on the step, then the acid bath which took a day, then the sanding, then to our surprise with a couple of days from starting the job, he was filling the pool back up. It's here we run into all the complaints...the pool plaster was not all white after he did his job, you could visibly see the same discoloration and while the staining was better it was not by any means gone as he'd promised. We contacted Steve and he responded that that was best it would get and that to him it looked beautiful. Well that's great but to me it looks the same and I'm the paying customer. So we pushed the issue and continued to express disappointment. Then came the excuses...he had one for everything we weren't pleased with...the first excuse... was too old to do any more treatments or sanding and that if we wanted more we would have to sign a waiver releasing him of any libaility or damage to the pool. Feeling very disouraged and not pleased which we communicated to Steve we had him finish the work on the spa light and filled in the pool. Our only request was that he make the tile and grout sparkle to hopefully at least give the pool the illusion of being updated. He said he came out and worked on it several times but it not nuch better either--definitely not how I expected/he promised it to be. When we communicated how unhappy we were with the tile/grout outcome we got excuse number two..now it was it too old and simply needed to be replaced. WOW! Really! we already new that and we're not pool contractors. the experiance and outcome was less than diserable and while there is an improvement in the appearance of the pool its absoluely not what we were lead to believe it would be. It's. About 60% better than it was to start. Absolutely not $1000 better. Of course, he wanted to be paid along the way for the process and upon completion. He offered no discount for the service even though we weren't happy with the outcome. In my opinion he found out how much money we had to spend, told us what we wanted to hear, and made promises to get our business but couldn't ever deliver what he promised to. I've had lots of great experiences with Angie's List contractors this just wasn't one of them.

"We were very happy with the cost and the fact that Joe looked at the least expensive options first and was able to perform everything at a lower cost than I was expecting. 
The only negative we had is that he wasn't always quick in getting back to us with next steps as he did come out on 3 separate occasions.  Joe told us that he had hurt his foot while on a job after the fact.  I understand, but it would have been good to get a return call so that we weren't wondering what was going on.  The first visit was on 5/06/13, so overall we were able to get it fixed pretty quickly.
He also wasn't able to provide much help with our request to get new wood siding and his response was just that "I don't do wood".  Again, I understand but would have been nice to get some direction on who to work with or how to move forward on that piece.

"I wasn't happy with it, and I had to have them back out a couple of times. It is not a big deal, it happened a year ago. I paid them cash $1000, I paid them a check and they said they never got the check, I had to send them copies of the check. Their accounting department leaves a little to be desired. I wasn't happy with the work and the aftermath. I would not use them again. "
