"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

"I called the driller and got a good "gut feeling" about the contractor.  He quoted for the drilled well, but would not guarantee water, but only drilled by the foot. <br /> He drilled 420' and only had a dry hole.  Hydrofractured twice and got two good breaks giving me 8 gallons a minute of water.  Came back the next day to hydrofracture again to make sure everything was cleaned out and then shocked the well.  He did really good work.  I would hire him again. <br />"

"The repairs cost $820. I was dismayed that the repair cost was this high for a piece of equipment that was only 3 years old, and had been maintained as per recommendations. "They typically last much longer" I was told by the company, but there was no reduction in the price for the repairs. I found that the company was frequently slow to respond to phone calls, and the estimated repair time of 3-4 weeks took almost 3 months."

"I found Dorian Dyer's original paintings to be thought provoking and yet peaceful at the same time. <br /> He creates scenes of a simple and pure love using subjects such as eagles, geese, buffalo, people, the Earth, and the cosmos.  All of Dorian's art expresses a connection with one another and all life.   <br /> With an initial gaze at Dorian's paintings you may see an abstract or New Age piece of art, but when you relax and take a few moments to look deeper, an inner knowing of the masterpiece of all life will come forward.  There is love, beauty, and a gentle reminder of God's presence within each piece of art. <br /> <br />"

"Since I was a new customer they required a credit card to charge 1 hour labor.  I saw this charge and no more bills or copy of work order until 11/13/14 when I got a bill for $377.94.  I didn't expect it to be that much, it appeared to be a simple fix to me.  $69 for a tub spout when I had priced them at Home Depot for under $20.  After showing the bill to a couple of people I guess it wasn't out of line but it sure was a shock.  I wasn't home when the plumber did the job, but he fixed the problems and left no sign of being there.  Other than price I'm very satisfied.  I'm just used to having someone that can do handyman jobs and hiring professionals can be shocking!"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Milbridge, ME

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
